Love this place! Their chicken pesto sandwich it’s delicious
Quick and friendly service. Excellent coffee. Breakfast was yummy.
You would never know they were a hole an wall restaurant.... Really impressed with the food ( it was delicious 😋 ). The only downside is there is no parking for the establishment, so you have to pay for parking on the street. It can be impossible to find a spot during certain times, but worth it!
The country salad was a great size and was pretty tasty. Contrary to the Google description, this is not a great spot for working on a laptop. They do not have wifi or outlets.

One of my favorite coffee and brunch/breakfast places. The bueno bowl is my favorite food item and I love the chai. Amongst my friends we have decided the best things to order here are the bueno bowl and an iced vanilla chai latte with almond milk or oat milk.
Alta is gem in the community and has been making delicious food and home roasted coffee in the community for a long time. I have many fond memories here, mostly in the evenings having dinner and dessert and occasionally having a local artist playing music. Sadly, evenings are no longer a thing at Alta. It is a breakfast and lunch place only at this point. Here's hoping that evenings eventually come back.
Came here with the teenagers and we all enjoyed our food. The drinks were delicious.
I have been to this little shop/cafe a couple of times and one of best things about it is they serve my all time favorite coffee, Wilson Coffee out of Costa Mesa. Service was good and food was tasty. Got our order quick too.
Food and coffee were great. The food runner was a uninterested in her job. Set down everything on the table and said you guys can figure it out.

We got an Iced Mocha with Oat Milk, Iced Chai Latte with Oat Milk, and GF & Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie. Can tell and taste everything is made fresh on order, and it’s all delicious and amazing. Also had the opportunity to try the carrot cake, and was good as well. Definitely worth coming for some coffee and dessert.

We both ordered the surfer breakfast burrito. It was gross. Clearly made some time ago and reheated when we ordered. Served so hot it couldn’t be eaten. From the way it was prepared the consistency of the potatoes and eggs were the same. Fruit bowl was average at best… Cute place but bad food. Too many good options in Newport… We won’t be back.
