Wonderful people, food, and ambiance. A 'must stop' place for anyone who's local or just passing through. Can't say enough about this joint. Love them!

The best new addition to the Russian River! Skillful and delicious hot beverages, and a great selection of fresh smoothies. The food is a wonderful mix of flavors and freshness that the owners pour their heart into. And the desserts are baked fresh and leave you wanting more. All of that in a cozy setting under the redwood trees. I can’t recommend this place more of you are anywhere near the Russian River.

Skateboarding makes the world a better place. Add a perfect flat white and baklava cheesecake and you have cafe shangri la.

This place is casual and has its own garden. The food is interesting and they make great, coffees, teas and desserts that are not too sweet. Not major huge menu but it's a small outdoor bench seating place. Food Portions seem small for the price. Desserts and drinks are correct sizing.

The vibe is fun and easygoing. The pour over, ice tea and cappuccino were nicely done. It was fun to see people take on the skatepark terrain just below. The service is very friendly and kind. The music was very energetic and non-mainstream which broke the mold from an ordinary coffee shop. The seating was cozy and varied. This was at the end of our Bohemian Highway drive. So apropos!

Lightwave feels like home away from home. From the moment you walk up, your eyes are bouncing to each thoughtfully curated item - the antiques, the wood, the flowers, to the picture-perfect coffee station. But it's the warm welcome from Ori and Gal that makes you feel like you're an old friend coming over for meal. And what a meal! Every dish is as perfect as the setting, and leaves you looking forward to the next morning when you can return.

Found this amazing place tucked into the mountains years ago, and everything I've tried on the menu has been incredibly delicious.

A dream of a local coffee spot. This quaint place has everything for the California person in you. With a lovely skatepark in sight you can try your skills and cool off with a mint smoothie with ingredients from the public garden right on the grounds. The coffee is fresh and delicious and the cuisine is just as wonderful and unique as the lovely staff. Not to mention the collection of old radios to view. I frequent this place and I am always greeted with a smile.

Our go-to breakfast spot on our way to Russian river. The food is delicious, the ambience is serene and the hosts are always fun to talk to.

The high energy vibe here is unreal. Having never been to Monte Rio my wife and I stopped in for some breakfast. I wish I could remember the name of the main guy there because he was SO happy (and therefore nice, energetic, accommodating, etc). He was vibing with us so hard that when as we left he called us by name and said "See next time!" I genuinely felt bad knowing that he'd likely never see us again. The guy is the human embodiment of a Golden Retriever. Not only that, the food was scrumptious and the cherry cheesecake (which I got as an afterthought seeing it on another customer's plate) was INCREDIBLE! If you're in Monte Rio, do not pass this place up!!
