We used to go here all the time. We keep trying again from time to time but after COVID, they seemed to go downhill. The servers are very nice people however so I feel bad about not going. The last time we went we got the pot roast. It’s just not very tender cubed pieces of beef in a very watery, tasteless broth with a very small portion of mashed potatoes and a few asparagus. But this time it was worse, the beef was spoiled. They tried to cover it up with the terrible watered down gravy but it was so obvious. So we give up. What’s going on with our restaurants in Mendocino? Not many good ones left. So sad….

It had been a few years since I've been here. Not only was it as good but it was even better.
Great brunch spot in downtown Mendocino, with a very garden feel to it. They have a few vegetarian options, including a Thai burrito which was delicious. Definitely pricey but delicious!
Great food, reasonable price, and great service. Lots of vegetarian options too (you can sub tofu or soyrizo in almost any dish).
Great stop on our drive down CA1 for lunch. This was a rare find or just luck as your options for really good food are limited. Simple but tasted great with a glass of wine and view of ocean. Nice little patio with beautiful landscaping. Mendocino is a nice little artsi town to visit as well.
The food was fantastic, and it actually has favor and spice. The menu is diverse as well. This place is perfect for many different pallets.
We had a great dinner at this restaurant - nice selection on the menu and very friendly wait staff. Highly recommend if you are in Mendocino!
If you’re visiting Mendocino like we were, this cafe is a great spot to stop for lunch. We loved our food and really appreciated the attentive service. We were traveling with our pup and thankfully they are dog friendly! The food is delicious and the outdoor patio (where we sat) had beautiful views.
Order the clams and mussels in garlic butter wine sauce.
Delicious meals. Excellently prepared. Locals favorite. Especially love the seafood pasta with cream brandy sauce. Thai Fire pot too. Has decks and gardens with heat lamps and umbrellas, partial view of Ocean. Downtown Mendocino.
Friendly, cozy places and good food with variety of options including vegetarian.
One of the best food I had in Mendocino.. we ordered Masala curry and tofu burrito and both were delicious.
Probably the worst food we have ever eaten. Someone needs to retrain the cook or fire them. No one wants to eat flavorless fish in a pool of water flavored "broth" with rice swimming in it, and a side of candied onions to make you dry-heave when you bite into them. Worst restaurant in Mendocino and probably California.
Great food, indoor & outdoor seating, servers very friendly. Like most Mendocino eateries, the atmosphere is comfortable and casual.
Felt like having a great meal after many days of eating in small town diners serving platefuls of cheesy pastas. This one did not disappoint - high quality tasty food, great vibe and excellent service. We got blackened fish, Thai bowl and chicken satay along with wine and an excellent dessert that was tart and not too sweet. We would love to come back.
Seemed like a really nice place, atmosphere was friendly getting my food and we got bread and butter added to our to-go order. If your looking someplace with S.F. Bay area vibes this place is it.

Great crab cake sandwich and fish tacos. Nice protected outdoor dining area and very attentive service. Would definitely go back.
A great local eating experience. Not sure if ingredients are sourced locally but the restaurant felt “family-run”. Food tasted great, portions weren’t too large and service was great. The dessert was ok, we tried the carrot cake. Found the cake slightly dry. Would definitely eat here again.
