Love this place! Great food and wonderful service. Locally owned and operated, they are the exemplary model of small town dinner. Bring the family or friends, and enjoy a slice of Americana.

My husband and I are locals and eat there often. Food is always pleasing to the eyes and yummy to the taste buds. And the staff is very friendly as well! Annie is a great waitress! We wanted French toast with berries. They were out of berries so the cook ran down to the local store and bought some for us! Excellent service! I highly recommend this restaurant and hope you will enjoy your visit there as well.

I loved all the ambiance of a 1950s shop with all the comforts off home, and even better food.

The people saying they have a rude attitude are absolutely right. Here they bark orders at you and keep a stiff air of disrespect. Apparently the current owners stole it from the last people... Yeah it's a cursed location I don't think anything good is going to be happening here soon

We were unfortunate enough to be sat right by the front door, where we witnessed the wait staff rudely greeting each customer, telling them they were way too busy and referring them to another restaurant across town. They apparently didn’t even have the time to keep a list of patrons waiting, and left it to the customers to manage the waiting order on their own and basically would just yell “next 4 top” outside as tables opened. After ordering we waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive then heard the waitress telling other customers that the burritos we ordered were the reason why the kitchen was so far behind. The food was great but the staff made sure every customer in the room knew how much of an inconvenience it was for them to want to dine in their restaurant. Enter at your own risk 😂

Updating my review now that there has been new ownership. I am so bummed to say that the service has taken a severe nose dive. This is a great location with good food but I don’t know if I can deal with the wait staff here any longer. We watched the hostess strongly encourage EVERY customer to leave rather than wait around for a table. We were told 45 minutes and our table was ready in 10. After turning away about 30 patrons they put up a sign on the door stating they were done seating for the day. At 10:30am on a Sunday. If you want to be treated like an inconvenience, yelled at from across the restaurant that there’s no room for you, then served cold ham 60 minutes later, go for it.

Interesting building and fun small town. Great food and nice people. Please stop in and try their homemade potatoes and fun country breakfast. Vist the Mercantile store next door.

No clear signage when you come in so everyone that comes in sits down then has to get up again to order. "No table service" means "no tip". Just an inconvenience for everyone who's never been here before... The amount of people coming through for the festival is a huge incentive to wait tables and work. Any restaurant that has operated at full capacity is still the same when it's full. Not waiting tables. Makes it all slower and more inconvenient for the customer.

We love coming here. My husband has been coming to restaurants in this building since the 60’s. Love the ambience! The waitress was very efficient. Food good!

Rude waitresses including the owner who told us to leave because my service dog didn’t have a sign showing it. The awful and clearly clueless owner broke the law by discriminating me. No good is worth that trauma! Avoid like the plague
