Unhappy and unfriendly staff, I felt like a burden to them.
We visited this restaurant at around 2pm one day to order some sandwiches to-go. We had to wait in a short line when we arrived and then placed our order for two veggie sandwiches with fries. We waited at least 30 minutes for our food. Once in the car we opened the to-go boxes and found that our food was cold. The fries had absolutely no seasoning and the vegetarian sandwich was all soggy. The only good part of the meal was the yummy tractor orangic soda.
Waited 45 minutes for 3 bagels toasted with cream cheese for $16. Don’t waste your time.
Unique and quality offerings, convenient location and reasonable price. A surprising little gem in the heart of the mountain village. This was the first place we had breakfast at, being across the street from our hotel, and the only place in walking distance that had breakfast early in the morning. We ended up coming back here twice, but only had a sit-down breakfast the first time. It’s a counter-service place, not full-service, so expect to place an order, get your number and wait to hear your number. We ordered an omelette (3 egg is standard) with bell peppers, onions, turkey sausage and cheddar. Added a latke (potato pancake) and a side of crispy bacon. It came with toast (we chose sourdough). Everything was delicious. The omelette was perfectly done and surprisingly filling, despite being listed as a 3-egg omelette, we split this and both felt full the whole morning. The add-ins added nicely to the flavor, especially the flavorful turkey sausage. The bacon was crispy, as ordered, and delicious. The only negatives were; the butter wasn’t applied to the toast and it was cold so we had to let it sit for a while to melt and the drink selection was odd. Fortunately they had regular Coca Cola, not my favorite but it will do. The latke was one of the first I’ve been able to find in a restaurant, usually I have to make them at home, and it was amazing. I wanted to come back and get more but just never got the chance. It was served with sour cream and apple sauce, but we just ate it straight, the apple sauce wasn’t my favorite, but both were in side containers so they can be used or not. A couple days later we stopped in for a quick bagel and cream cheese, the bagel was nice but I can’t really talk too much about bagels. It was a good bagel and Philly cream cheese. While waiting for the bagel, I noticed a bagel pizza, and decided I would get one to take home the last day. So that’s exactly what I did. The morning of our drive, I stopped in and grabbed a bagel pi
Food is good. Staff is racist, rude and unfriendly. Will never go there again
Got my order wrong two days in a row, despite me clarifying with the cashier both times. I know it's busy, it try listening to your customers when they are ordering. Needless to say, I won't be back again.
Every time I’m snowboarding in Mammoth Lakes I stop at the Old New York for breakfast daily. Their menu is huge, food is delicious, and the service is consistently exceptional. Located at the bottom of the Village Gondola it can also be a great lunch spot if you’re skiing at Canyon Lodge.
Well priced decent food. The eggs aren’t great, and they don’t have real maple syrup even though they advertise it. The French toast is really good though
Food was pretty good but the service just wasn’t up to par. I’d understand if it was extremely busy but there were only 4/5 people inside and hardly any outside. I waited at the register to order for almost 5min before anyone even acknowledged my girlfriend and I. Multiple employees walked past us and even made eye contact and still refused to acknowledge us. Once the young lady got to us it was very quick transaction but still no excuse for lack of service. It isn’t hard to do. I hope that this was a one off situation. I intend on giving this place another try maybe on a different day and find out.
So good. Everyone loved their meal.
A god awful brisket sandwich. Likely the most dry meat I’ve ever had and I’m not exaggerating. 17$ tip and couldn’t even finish it. They do not answer their phone and online ordering is unavailable. I would highly suggest eating a local restaurant instead of this selfish corporate chain that clearly knows nothing about quality or the environment that they intrude in .
A little pricey, but the food was really good. They had authentic NY everything bagels and great menu choices. Probably the best spot to get breakfast before hitting the slopes in Mammoth. They get real busy so be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes.
Hard working servers. Very good prices for a ski resort. Come on time as peak hours means you will need to wait on your bagel. Everything bagel went too hard on the cumin seeds
Nice menu with a variety of options. Sandwiches were very pricey ($20). I got the soup and sandwhich combo which was a better value and included a very large bowl of yummy tomato soup.
So this place sells bagels and cream cheese but they can't price how much a bagel with cream cheese and slices of tomatoes and onions cost. Instead they told my friend to order the bagel with lox and put the lox on the side charging her $16 🙄. 1 point reduction for that. Also the pastrami sandwich was the worst i ever had. Bread was wet and falling apart immediately after receiving it. The pastrami was fatty and hard to tear up with your teeth. I don't think it's supposed to be like that. Also the fries were tasteless and they didn't provide ketchup. 2 points reduction for that menu item. We ordered here 3 times on our 4 day trip in Mammoth and each time i was disappointed with something. Overall for the cost of this place i rather pay the same amount at a regular restaurant away from the ski area.
Our go to place for brekfast every time we're at Mammoth which is about 5 times a year. Great food good prices. Love their website for ordering food to go.
Hi there 🤙 Been in a rush that day but still had a chance to try their coffee. I took Mocha and was good. Not to sweet, not to dark, just good. Next time will stop there for some sweet treats. They have cinnamon rolls, topped chocolate cones, variety of breads and bagels. Fresh juices, ready to eat meals, sandwiches and more. Inside you can see a tv with all info about conditions on trails, very nice 👍 almost forgot about 96 oz of coffee box, have to try it during cold days. See you next time.
We got 2 breakfast burritos, bagels and chive cream cheese for breakfast as well as two lattes. The lattes were very diluted with milk. The kids did not like the burritos and the cream cheese was very average. The bagels tasted OK but not exceptional. This place has a great location so it’s convenient but they need to improve the quality of their food.
Great food and service surprisingly low cost.
The worst Ruben sandwich of my life. It’s my favorite so I like to try it everywhere. The meat was old, dry, and had so many chewy parts I didn’t eat it. The bread was cut so thin that it just fell apart so it was impossible to hold the sandwich. They also gave me and my friend the wrong side dishes. I was super hungry but it was not edible for me. I had to throw it away and I hate wasting food so I was very upset. I won’t come back
