Noisier than I like, especially when I'd not seen my companions for ages. Hard to catch up.

The atmosphere is great; there is a great selection of wines. The food was delicious we started off with the Brie appetizer & for our entree we did the gnocchi and steak frites they were both well portioned dishes and super fresh.
It's a restaurant, its a bar, it's a wine store, it's a gift shop and... an art gallery. What more than a hungry, wine loving art aficionado ask for, all in one place?
I stopped in Tuesday evening around 5pm for an early dinner. I sat at the bar. There was only a couple of tables occupied and no one else sitting at the bar. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and Diet Coke. The pizza was outstanding just as last time. The service on the other hand was very poor. I had to ask for a napkin. My glass sat empty for over half my meal (and never refilled). Employees would come and go and never make eye contact nor ask if I needed anything. The bartender was occasionally on the other side of the bar, but mostly MIA. When a lady finally offered to take my empty plate, I was asked if I needed a refill. At this point I was just ready to leave. The moral of the story is don’t sit at the bar. The pizza was great though
We were 1st time walk in after a baseball game. everything was excellent, I would return for more.

Always have to stop here when in the area. Have tried most of the menu and enjoyed everything, particularly salads and pizzas. Yum.
LO Wine Merchant cafe never disappoints, but today Diana provided a flawless service experience. Friendly, accommodating, and informative yet unobtrusive. Perfect table side manner and honest, spot-on recommendations.
Incredible farm to table menu, exceptional wine list and overall phenomenal experience! This restaurant has it all and represents the best of the Santa Ynez Valley! I can't wait to be back again!
Best food ever. We had the alba pizza, omg. To die for. Service was great. Tuna tostada was great too. Their hazelnut soda- yummy. Everything was great which is hard to come by with my pickiness.
Excellent food with a fairly limited menu. Daily specials. Very comfortable bar. Dining room and bar often busy. Also has very large selection of area bottled wine for carry out purchase.

Fun place foe lunch They have beer in addition to tons of wine. We like small pizzas.
This is a high end eatery in a down home little town. The artisan cheese plate is a must starter no matter what else you choose to eat.
Great fresh food and amazing wine list.
Nice place, very busy on a Friday afternoon so we were seated at the bar. Unfortunately our Corsica pizza was undercooked and soggy, swimming in cold chicken sausage juice. Second attempt was good but pizza was bland. I asked for red pepper, which came in fast food packets. Salad was very good and they have an excellent wine selection as you would expect. I've had good meals here before but this was not one of them.
Great time there last night. Loved the food, service was fantastic, could do with less screaming kids.
