Such a lovely venue with great coffee, drinks, pastries and freshly prepared sandwiches. The staff are friendly and lots of snacks. There is seating inside and outside.

I was told the croissant was fresh but it was stale and the coffee was just average. If you are charging such high prices, at least provide quality food.

Absolutely love the space and vibe here. I came on a weekday and was lucky enough to find free parking, though this can usually be a hassle in the area. They have iced coffee on tap which was absolutely delicious. In my opinion, doesn't need anything though I'm sure the coffee drinks are good as well! Average price-wise and excellent wi-fi connection. The playlist was also on-point for my taste. I would definitely recommend Groundwork as a prospective study spot!

I had the most amazing latte and sandwich here for a little brunch kind of meal. The service was super friendly.

Love, Love, Love this place I've tried everything there and it's delicious 😋 and the customer service is No.1. I really appreciate how the owner greets me everytime he sees me. The other day I saw them give the homeless a meal and this wasn't my 1st time seeing them feed the homeless. What a great establishment and they have good prices.

Little hidden gem. This place is simply amazing. Delicious food and friendly staff. The owner was doing everything possible to make as feel good. And the colorful cappuccino is the icing on the cake...

Comparing to other specialty coffee shop, not very impressive. Coffee bean lost its flavor so taste is too light and negligible that may come from poor quality bean and faulty roasting. Coffee is prepared by non-professional barista. They wasn’t that friendly so you'd better not expect they would recognize you or your favorite order. They are located inside of LA library cafe so seating is enough by sharing tables with other business. Atmosphere is busy like a market so it is noisy and busy. Daylight hardly gets in, ventilation didn't seem working. Just a good place for quick lunch, not for coffee. I've come here for lunch a couple times and it completely mystifies me that the panda express next to it has a crazy long line and this coffee shop and deli is much quieter. They've got an inspiring mission, tasty sandwiches and beverages, and reasonable prices! Go into the library using the door all the way on the left side if you're coming up the steps from the south to find it.

I am in love with this sandwich the special of the day turkey avocado coleslaw I think I'm in love with the sandwich and that's why I gave it four stars the other reason why I did not give it five is because it took them 15 minutes to make the sandwich and I tip them $3 and one of the girls the girl that was training actually didn't have her gloves on she says she'd just took them off for a second well thank God it wasn't my sandwich but other than that great service great food!!!

Fantastic coffee. Compares in quality and taste to other coffe shops in the area without the sticker shock. Have wide selection of vegan food options.

Glad to see this space occupied by such lovely people on a mission. High quality goods at very reasonable prices, Skid Row Coffee provided everything I needed for 6 productive hours at the library (delicious black coffee, baked treats, and turkey sandwich). There's free wifi and plenty of seating.
