It's Philz Coffee. It's five stars list by existing. I mean, it's the best.

Excellent made to order coffee shop. I only drink hot and black which was excellent. This might’ve been one of the best cold brews I’ve tasted.

If you find yourself at Philz Coffee, don't over complicate it. Get a pound of Ether dark roast for home and a Mojito mint iced coffee for the road. Done.

Walked inside, the store is basically completely empty. The barista and cash register person are just standing around. Nobody greets me or says anything. I walked out. Terrible customer service.

One of the best places for morning coffee and work session. As a remote worker I always struggle to find the right place to spend several hours and have my work done. This place has become one of my regulars. Special thanks to the friendly stuff who make the most delicious coffee in town.

Philz is too sweet for me to drink often but it is for sure a must try if you’ve never had it. This café is also a nice place to get some work done if you come at a time where it’s not too busy.

Just say you don't serve espresso drinks. Coffee and espresso do not taste the same. Annoying to have paid 5 bucks for a non espresso drink.

I went to Philz because it was the only spot near my hotel open for coffee at 6am. I am so glad I did, because I absolutely loved it and went back several times during my trip. The servers were helpful and friendly. I always feel a little on edge that I'll be treated like an annoyance if I ask too many questions (because coffee snobs are not the crowd to look weak in front of), but the crew at Philz LA was kind, patient, and helpful. Even amid the rush of the morning crowd, my drink arrived quickly, and the shop itself had plenty of seating and a relaxing ambiance. Not to mention that the coffee was delicious! I got a hazelnut iced latte twice and one with rose foam, and I loved them all. I would recommend this spot and will definitely stop by if I get to visit LA again.

I never thought I'd write a negative review about Philz but life is full of surprises. The Manhanttan with heavy cream I ordered this afternoon was lukewarm and tasted like it had been sloppily slammed together at the last moment. It didn't taste like quality Philz at all. The rude, self-absorbed barista likely contributed to that. When I rec'd my coffee, the coffee cup was dripping with coffee and there were mini puddles of coffee all over that counter area. It looked like a Keurig exploded. I say nothing and take a napkin to carefully wipe clean the outside of my cup and the counter area. I thought I could leave it there so that they could easily trash it. Instead that a-hole loudly remarks that I've "left my napkin" there. This AFTER I'd the courtesy of cleaning up after HIS mess on HIS counter after likely, numerous disastrous drinks. I hope to never encounter the likes of him again. Previously, I've had great experiences with baristas and enjoyed the quality coffee here.

Best coffee. The iced mint mojito is great but I get the philtered soul to use at home. It’s creamy and has a hint of hazelnut that doesn’t need any cream or sugar

Philz is always a safe and good choice to get coffee, pastry, sit down and chat!! It’s such a good coffee shop. My friend and I went to Philz for a quick coffee. The mint mojito never disappoints - I’ve had it with caffeine and decaf, both are really great. Original taste. Their speciality is the mint mojito or the rosé so definitely try these when you come here!! I tried the lemon poppy seed loaf bread and it was small but good too.

First time trying Philz Coffee!! Tried this spot based on a recommendation from a social media travel influencer. I ordered the iced mint coffee and it was amazing!!! Staff was very friendly and asked us whether we enjoyed the coffee, knowing it was our first time. The restaurant was clean, great seating indoors.

Coffee options are abundant. They have an offering of continental style breakfast foods. They have adequate larger tables for an impromptu meeting. Downtown is changing, sadly, with much change over the last 15 years. I gave 4 stars for location otherwise a nice shoppe.

The service was awesome, there was a line when I arrived just 3 people in front of me, but it was fast and everybody was really polite. Plus, the coffee tastes amazing. Highly recommend.

They brew each individual cup of their quality aromatic and flavorful coffees. I'm talking just a hot cup of gourmet coffee based on the beans, brewing time and the basics. Not a fancy frappe, or toppings or flavors. Yet better than an average "cup of joe" that's a spark to start the day. Or a pleasurable afternoon pick me up. Every time when I describe my preferences for sweeteners, etc. and leave the rest up to them, they never disappoint!
