Delicious coffee, but it is extremely disappointing that there is no option for non-paper, regular cup or plates when you have it at the café. This is what surprises me so much. Los Angeles is the place which sets the trends. Maru has a really great specialty coffee and there is such a low environmental awareness. I wish less-waste approach was more promoted in places like that.

My favorite coffee spot in LA! Their vanilla bean latte is probably the best one I’ve had of all the coffee spots I’ve been to. Flavor and quality are consistent every time and I service has always been great too. I also just prefer this location since it’s a little easier to find street parking!
Maru makes a good latte/matcha/insert choice beverage here but the line is so long and the seating so limited that you was essentially have to be on your merry way once you get your drink. That, or fight for elbow space at one of the 4 crate-boxes they have for you to sit at. I can’t deny the quality of their coffee, but if you’re looking for a place to work or catch up with friends, I would go elsewhere.
Can’t even taste the espresso in the cappuccino, it’s so diluted in the large cup

Maru is the only place you wait in line at every single time you go. And everyone in line is dressed way better than you. While it’s not the perfect experience, it is one that is unique and very enjoyable. Maru prides itself on being a meditation on coffee. And it shows. It feels calming, bright, and easy going inside—if you don’t feel good after coming out then you didn’t do it right.

I finally found a place that makes iced cappuccino!! Also their espresso drinks aren’t too milky which is great. This is one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to (and I’m traveling a lot). The customer service was on point as well. Love them 🤍🤍🤍
Don't run away from the line, it doesn't take that long. The coffee is worth it. The service was immaculate and kind. The matcha latte was one of the best I've had - perfectly balanced, mildy sweet. The cream top espresso was CRAZY delicious. Sweet fluffy cream atop a complex espresso. Delicious. My highest recommendation for this coffee shop.
Great coffee!! I got a single origin from Kenya and it was so full of colors it blew my mind!
Very tiny coffee spot in Los Feliz. There was a line out the door when we showed up which made us hesitant to wait but we figured a line meant it must be good. Coffee was great and the pastries were super unique and delicious. I'll definitely be back to wait in line.
