It’s unfortunate that I have to rate HL so slow, but they have made some decisions over the last couple years that have encouraged me to go elsewhere. I used to order multiple times a week, now I only order as an absolute last resort, i would rather drive to pick up chipotle than walk up the street to get HL. Pro: staff are excellent (GM/owner/lady in the jumpsuit is grumpy and abrasive though,) food tastes good. Con: The burrito was one of the best things on the menu, they removed it. They removed the text-when-ready feature, so now the food is cold when you pick it up. They blamed covid: covid Is well done with, bring it back. They relaunched their burger with nearly the same burger, they should charge $2 more and include fries with it like how they do with fish’n chips. The fish’n chips are microscopic and vary in quality. It comes with fries and a salad, great price point, however, I would rather have larger fish and the choice of the salad or the fries. They have given us fish sandwiches instead of chicken sandwiches numerous times, slightly annoying. The meatballs taste great but should include pasta, even if it’s $3 more. The coffee is far from outstanding.
One of my go-to's. Great space, good seating, good coffee, really good food. One tiny complaint: Music is a smidge too loud for comfortable conversation.
The staff is better, kinder than words can describe.
I had a burger with salad and a lemon muffin all was pretty good! They are pet friendly and have outdoor seating
The food and drinks are Amazing!! I wish their sitting was a little better, but it worked. I'm going back soon to try more of their menu items. I am not drinking caffeine, and they made me a delicious decaf drink to accompany my delicious meal.
Friendly staff and decent food, but I really cannot emphasize enough how hard it is to get a table, and how loud it is inside. They play jazz and mariachi and oldies, which is great, but they play them SO loudly everyone has to speak with raised voices, and the volume gets to the level where it's hard to hold a conversation or even work with sound cancelling airpods. If the food was more affordable, this wouldn't be a bother at all, but it's really grating to spend 25 dollars on a meal and shout your way through it.
First time going there and it did not disappoint!
Nice vibe, but the music was kinda loud for a Sunday morning. The food is ok, not super tasty.
Very aesthetically beautifully place. Expensive. The food and drink were both very good. Only complaint is they served my $10+ glass of wine in a sad little cup not a wine glass. I just think if its gonna be super expensive at least use a wine glass. Other than the prices everything was great.
Pretty good spot. Went here with my vegan friends (yikes) and it was better than expected!
I do like the open design. I hate how loud the music is- it gives this cafe a club vibe and contributes to that “omg I’m in LA, we’re just sooo like, cool, we blast rock music at 11 am” 😵💫😵💫😵💫
This charming cafe is the quintessential example of quality dining and inspiring aesthetics. My last visit was an enjoyable one as one of the baristas knew my order before I even placed it. I proceeded to the cashier and was greeted with a warm smile. This place is great for the neighborhood and the plant themed setting feels almost paradisaic. Will I return again? Well, let's just say it's Highly Likely. 🙂
Cozy atmosphere, charming desserts and fragrant coffee. I really like coming here. It's convenient to drive up and there are no lines.
Delicious and filling meal with great savory options and a tempting bakery case! Easy accommodations for various dietary needs including vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, and gluten free. We enjoyed the crunchy rice dish so much my husband suggested coming back again later this week. (:
Chicken sandwich & crispy hippie are so good. Love their hot sauce too.
Trendy coffee shop but not cheap, only one size cups!
Chill spot to work at in the mornings or meet up for a meeting in the afternoon. Good food and good drinks. Staff is super friendly.
I like this place…. Their matcha latte is what I enjoy most. Sometimes I’ll get genmaicha hot tea, love the plants, love the music. Always a nice energy here for morning
In West Adam’s checking out houses w/ my girlfriend and we decided to grab a bite at at highly likely. First impression; spacious, great vibe, ample seating inside and out and beautifully decorated. The place is very clean w/ a nice ambiance. Hip and cool. We ordered a chicken sandwich and French toast + a couple side mimosas. The chicken sandwich was tasty, great bun and tender chicken - perfectly marinated, nicely topped and cooked to perfection. The French toast, heavenly; moist, sweet, topped with a savory sauce w/ a cream sauce side for dipping. Washed the meals down with our mimosas. Staff was very friendly. Solid brunch destination. Looks like this place gets busy, so be prepared to wait in line during peak hours - totally worth the wait. We will be back to explore their menu
We showed up with a large group. The staff was amazing, patient and quick in their service. Their coffee drinks were amazing!!
