Best BLT I’ve had in LA so far :) not dry at all & very flavorful but still maintains bold BLT flavor components! And salad is yummy, fresh & light. Also enjoyed the mimosa!

Love this place and love how close it is. Everyone who works here is super friendly and helpful when I’m stuck trying to pick a pastry.

Their fried chicken sando had a great crunch and was moist. The fries were crisp and soft in the middle 👌 A great spot for a meetup with friends. Their pastries looked amazing.

Fantastic. I wish there were more places like this that really take pride in everything they do. The quality is top notch and I know they are sourcing high quality flours and grains. I got the Buckwheat pancake that takes 20 minutes and couldn’t be happier. It was a pleasure sitting to wait for it. It’s hard to find a good buckwheat pancake. They did a great job with it. I’ll be coming back, but with a friend to share it with next time! It’s huge. Eating here was a real treat.

Hidden gems. One of my top bakers in town. Heavenly breakfast and breads. Easy street parking. Must visit.

This place is known for their baked goods so make sure you go home w a pastry or a boule. Unfortunately I did not like their breakfast burritos- too runny w cubes of wet potatoes and not the classic w hash brown, tightly packed w scrambled eggs and pieces of bacon, all gooey w cheese. However, the ham & cheese croissant was good and the rest of the pastry case had a lot to offer.

Light and healthy and not overpriced food with interestingly curated flavors. For example, on the avocado toast I had, there’s minced pistachio and sea salt and chili and mint

Out of all the LA bakeries that have wholesale accounts, Friends & Family is easily my favorite. Their croissants are so crunchy and hold a terrific form that immediately catch my eyes from those pastry boxes. Friends & Family has a wide selection of pastries. Besides the normal croissant variations, there are also pistachio almond croissant, sweet and savory danishes, cakes, muffins and cookies. You can also get fresh baguettes and bread loaves. The cafe has plenty of seats, and a full day time menu. I went there for lunch with a friend and had the beef short rib hash (two eggs, braised beef, yukon potato & pickled chili salsa verde) and wow it was palatable and got amazing value for basically the price of a toast in those fancy, over hyped coffee shops. That's what I really like about Friends & Family: it's pretty much a hidden gem, a down-to-earth neighborhood bakery cafe, although I think it's worth being recognized by a lot more people.

Friend and Family is one of my favorite go-to spots for a tasty and quick breakfast. Every pastry I’ve had, even the ones I’m not quite sure of at first, is incredible. I’ve actually started buying a box of goodies before going to friends’ places for brunch.

The tea lattes really lack flavor but the food is delicious. It was fresh, super well made, and high quality. There is no coffeeshop wifi for patrons so you will need to use a hotspot if you want to get work done. Plenty of tables, and the staff are polite, but there's no bathroom or outlets.

Really good and want to go back and try other things... However, if they are reading this, they should consider a different dressing for the macro bowl. The vinaigrette was fine, but didn't fit that well for me. Would have been better with something thicker or a bit creamier like a tahini-based sauce/dressing. Or at least the option for one. It felt a bit naked. Would have been perfect otherwise!

Obsessed with their pastries plus good coffee. Never disappoints. Be prepared for hard to find parking (like any other place in the area). Staff is great and there's plenty of seating.

The quiche and spinach galette are fantastic. Unfortunately, the guy at the register was unfriendly and made a face when I put change in the tip jar. My bill was $11.

Great bakery options! The coffee is good, alittle High in price ($5.) The place is clean, open, good designs & creative overall. Only place like it within a 1/2 mile radius- I remember the salads used to be $5 in 2020 but now they’re $15 + tax.

Expensive counter food. Bakery is great, coffee is okay. It’s very clean and they have great aesthetics, $4.50 for a coffee $17. For a salad.
