Grabbed a couple different coffees to go and both where great. Solid coffee with several selections. Would gladly get coffee from here again. I didn't really see a place to sit. But if they did have one, it was either outside or a small section inside.
This place is amazing the concept as indoor truck is creative and also the coffee was just WOW I ordered the romantic which is rose latte
Love that they're going with a different spin, and that different spin is basically "coffee, but pink". Nowhere to sit inside afaik but lovely staff.
We went to this cute little coffee shop. We couldn’t really walk-in to the coffee shop so we got in line and ordered some coffee and two bakery items. I thought it was interesting that they offered an option to make the coffee pink so I ended up getting it. It was only food coloring rather than flavor but nonetheless still interesting to try out. When I asked about the coffee, the employee at the register was very mechanical and explained what a Gibraltar and Cappuccino were in terms of fluid ounces. I ended up ordering a Pink Cappuccino. We also bought two croissants - spinach and artichoke croissant and a sweeter croissant. They were both incredibly flaky and quite tasty. It was buttery yet didn’t leave an after taste. It was a little chilly, but we sat on some chairs outside and enjoyed the food + coffee. There were several people and dogs that came by throughout the morning so I could tell this place was busy. I recommend checking this place out!
Best coffee, best staff!
I’ve given this place a multitude of tries ever since it opened, I’ve run out of grace for it. The customer service has always been terrible, it seems that they only hire aloof rude people. My final straw was when a coffee spilled all over my hand hand because the barista did not put the lid on correctly and overfilled the cup. I asked for napkins because my skin was burning and there was coffee all over my sleeve, she turned away and did not even look at me, so I grabbed them myself. She gave me another cup and it was still overfilled. I hate to write a bad review for a small business but I hope management can see this so they learn to properly train their employees. The one positive interaction I had with an employee here stands out because they have all been bad. The coffee itself usually tastes burned. I live very close and none of my family or neighbors like it either. Funny enough my most recent cup actually tasted good. I might go back if it weren’t for the customer service.
They are a 1/2 block from our location. Very well roasted coffee. It does not taste burnt like big chains. Smooth and tasty not bitter.
The place looks super cute and every time I pass by there there’s always a line. So I gave it a shot a while back. The staff was friendly, but completely forgot my order. The coffee was ok… I personally wouldn’t go back there for the coffee but to take pictures against their pink wall
Federal Coffee is a great go-to neighborhood coffee shop. They serve Sightglass coffee, Farmshop pastries and even make some of their own specialty drinks. There are small tables and a bench for outdoor seating. And the baristas are always super friendly, knowledgeable and make great coffee.
Great coffee and really cute spot! Gotta get it pink! :D
Great coffee not the best but very good. I would go there again for sure.
Great coffee and great staff
Good
Coffee looks cute with the pink color but the taste is pretty mediocre. Maybe I didn’t order the best thing on the menu.
Great corner w/ pink aesthetic to match the instagramable vibe the venue is going for, but unfortunately the quality of the coffee and service does not match up. only would come here if i was desperate, and that’s pretty disappointing cause i live around the corner. Wish the business well and hope for improvements.
Pretty sad they don't accept cash! Also no pink milk!
Warning! Stopped by for a latte at 3:44 and was told they had shut down the espresso machine 15 minutes before closing which is 4:00 pm. I asked if they always do that or just today. He said yes always. Will not be back no matter what time of day it is.
Great little local spot; any occasion buying coffee that's not from a behemoth chain is a good one. Street parking, but usually space, and decent food, though could do with more options (only pastries ok offer when I visited). Caution, hispters tend to love taking selfies here with the mural, so steer clear if this bothers you.
I really appreciate this spot. Solid coffee for starters. But also one of the only spots in West LA open past some of these silly 2 or 4 PM close times. Still waiting for a spot I can work in a great environment inside until midnight and still get good espresso, but I'll settle for this for now. They're open until 5/5:30 or so, depending on the day, I think...which still makes a difference. Also, easy parking on the neighborhood street for a few minutes while you grab your coffee and split if you're in a hurry; though maybe that gets busier in the morning times (my morning routine takes me in a different direction from this spot). Update: I guess they have winter hours. Not sure if it’ll become permanent or switch back by the time summer rolls around. We’ll see. But understandable, I guess. Still looking for something later, but also still grateful this spot is here.
Cold brew is mediocre. Chocolate croissant has been consistently dry even when I arrive before 8am. Service leaves MUCH to be desired. One of the baristas in the mornings has been consistently rude. Very lame that they upcharge 25 cents for light ice and 75 for alternate milk. I only came here bc it’s only 5 mins from my house and it’s the only non-SBX around. After three unpleasant occurrences w the Bowl Cut, I’m taking my business elsewhere.
