Great chill coffee spot with friendly staff that actually knows how to make coffee. The space is light and has a slightly kitsch (in a good way) minimalist vibe that is good for meeting with friends or I suppose working on your screenplay since it seems that's what half the people there are doing. They have a good assortment of pastries and such weather your in for something sweet or savory to go with your drink. That said if you go later in the day some options will be sold out. Enjoy!
Very delicious lattes here! I discovered this place in the middle of the pandemic. Then they were doing sidewalk service. They're obviously fully open now! Amazing decor inside. Great for studying, reading or catching up with friends! Baristas are suuuuper friendly. Overall, one of the better coffeeshops in silver lake!
hello, I am a very coffee lover, and drink a lot! I have long wanted to visit this coffee shop because of the name, as my children love dinosaurs in autumn! …the girl at the checkout does not understand the difference between cappuccino and latte…. I explain 7 times that I need a large .... if you sell cappuccino in a small glass and latte in a large one, make me 2 orders but in a large glass, what's the problem????? she tried to sell me a latte despite the fact that I explain everything! after that say that I'm boorish!!!! please explain to your employees the difference between coffee ! disgusting !!!!! The situation was saved from a scandal by a guy with a blond haircut, calmly took a glass and made a cool!!!! and despite this, I leave a tip, only because of this guy) I haven’t tried coffee yet ... coffee really very good!!! But working girl…OMG
While this spot isn’t as renowned as Dayglow or Maru, Dinosaur has genuinely incredible coffee and their pastries hit the spot as well. They make their drinks quick and normally the line is fairly reasonable at the right time. It’s a great spot to do work or just grab a solid latte and dip.

We come here every morning for the past two years. Matcha and lattes are delicious. They also have a great pastries selection.
The vibes are grand! The iced coffee I got was THE BEST on the block. I almost went back for another one within the hour. So freaking good. It’ll definitely be my go-to spot when I’m in town.

Dinosaur coffee does a great job at creating the feeling of a wooden jungle with the use of organic curves, natural materials, and foliage that resemble the natural habitat that a dinosaur would have lived in. This gives the theme a modern and architectural twist that's far from cheesy. I especially love the exposed beams, bright light from the ceiling and wooden shelves that run along the walls in fun lines. Personally, I think the natural shapes and organic materials create a great environment to focus in, as humans naturally feel less stressed when surrounded by shapes and colors that resemble nature. The coffee is made in a small kitchen area right in the middle of the cafe, allowing you to walk fully around the space, constantly revealing more unique seating options. One can choose to sit out front, in the patio out back, at sharable tables inside, or even at the counter with a great view of the baristas! I found that anywhere you sit can be a great place for a laptop, book, a conversation or just your beverages and pastries. Lining their shelves, they have an array of products for sale. Apparel, bags, mugs and of course coffee beans! Their coffee blends are roasted and crafted by the roasters at Woodcat, another local coffee shop in Echo Park that currently owns Dinosaur Coffee. This place is a lazy cheap establishment. they use to have cold brew but the company got too cheap to continue to make it and the employee are just too lazy to take the extra step to prepare it. now they only have bitter burnt iced coffee from 2003. but they still charge the price of a cold brew.

Very trendy spot with lots of people working inside and outside. I ordered an $8 juice which is just absurd to me since it not fresh, would only order coffee next time.
Drinks and pastries are all great. Definitely specialty level coffee, yet very friendly and not presumptuous at all. We get the banana cakes everytime we come. There are small dinosaur decorations everywhere, my kid loved looking for them all over the store!
Coffee is very high quality, the shop itself is clean and airy with relaxing earth tones. Highly recommend.
