These micro coffee and tea stops are popping up so fast it's really hard to keep track of how they're run or if they're going to last. We were pleasantly surprised and heartwarmed to meet the folks that run this place. The coffee was a perfectly prepared Americano. Tea was excellently steeped. And the accompanying pastries, a cinnamon roll and croissant, though they were formed from a local bakery, we're perfectly paired with our dejeuner. I used to have a franchise coffee House of my own so passing my coffee critique is no small event. You're not going to get the opulent woodwork and atmosphere you might find a Starbucks with their billions of dollars, but this independent stop is slightly higher on the coffee choice for me
Second time here- I think their drinks are okay. Not the biggest fan of their matcha, but it’s a poppin spot. Always people in and out. Just not my taste..
I visited this place in the morning time. Parking is available on the street in the alley next to the coffee shop. I tried a mocha and its taste was excellent. Not too sweet but its sweetness was just right. They don't seem to be making bread themselves, but the texture of the croissants was great. I highly recommend here!!
If you like burgers, don’t miss this spot. Perfect meals after a long day of hiking in Zion!
Just moved near by. Been there twice, service is not great, then it takes way too long. Not spending my dollars at a place like this when there are way more options in the neighborhood with better service.
They very rude, i ordered iced americano and Latte with coconut milk, they pull a sparkling water in my americano and not said sorry to me, i disappointed and i will never visit there, i don’t recommend there!!!
For the name ‘coffee memes’ I expected it to be a silly place haha I thought they would have memes and whatnot, this may be stupid but I thought it would be a more fun place haha it’s not. It’s pretty sophisticated. I loved the iced vanilla latte I got, extra sweet. Workers are friendly and kind. I also loved that they had a cool looking vegan and gluten free monster cookie available.
Great morning coffee in silver lake. Love the Cappuccino ☕ I ordered. Especially for the special cup cover design easy for drinking and prevent leakage! The store is nice decorated with the blackboard and the water bowl for dogs. May try croissant 🥐 next time.
i really liked the pastries. i had a croissant with every meal lol. the jalapeno was my favorite. i also liked the cookies. coffee is great too. the matcha comes in one size :( but very refreshing. the interior is so cute and chic. i think i went when the owner was there super kind and knowledge man! to the people leaving bad comments youre obvious not from silverlake you pay for what you get the geographic area and great coffee. you also dont buy based on the smile of their cashier so just get your coffee and relax smh.
One of my favourite coffee places in LA! Love the vibe, people and specially their pastries and homemade caramel syrup!

Very social and friendly owner and employees. Owner took the time to explain to me the concept of his “memes” drinks and the Korean folklore behind it. Their cold brew is also very solid. For such a hip place in Silver Lake it’s surprisingly absent of any pretension. A must go to shop in Silver Lake
Love this place!! Great spot to start my morning, grab a delicious coffee or tea and pastry, and answer a few emails. Im not the kind of person who typically does a coffee run, but this spot has converted me. I’m here at least once a week.

I stopped by Coffee Memes a couple of times as I walked around Silver Lake. Once I tried an iced cappuccino, the cold froth was interesting, otherwise I was not impressed. The other time I had the iced dirty chai, or whatever it was called, it didn't stand out except for the extra price. Overall their "memes" drinks surely have catchy names and fancy looks, I can't say they are memorable or worth it. But frankly, I think Coffee Memes works for Silver Lake. If it were not Coffee Memes, there would be another place just like this.
Really great service! The employee working when I visited was so friendly and inviting. I ordered a latte and the mini chocolate croissant. Both were awesome. The latte was perfect and the temperature was nice and warm throughout. Really smooth espresso. I loved the croissant too. You could tell it was made with quality ingredients.
