Excellent baked goods. Plain croissant is my go to. Their espresso drinks are great too. Well priced and delicious lunch items.

Love this place! Accidentally discovered when Laveta across the street not making drip coffee earlier this week in morning. Sorry Laveta, my new favorite Echo Park coffee house and wonderful, beautiful ambiance to sit down and sip coffee under the plants. Places like this make me glad I made the move to LA and add to my appreciation of my new home, which can be something else at times. But Clark Street, you help make it better in LA! About the food and pastries, chocolate croissant so yummy, fresh and moist with perfect crisp on outside. Since I drink coffee black mostly, I can taste a good coffee without all the additives and their coffee most definitely flavorful, not bitter and a fantastic brew. Worth the $4.50 to support a local business that makes LA beautiful.

Honestly this is my favorite spot. I enjoy their bread but don't partake in the viennoiserie. I often get it delivered on the weekend, my baguette is usually still warm from the oven. Sometimes I journey to the cafe so I can sit on the patio and people watch. They have nice coffee and breakfast options.

Don’t go if you don’t fit in their light skin color spectrum

My wife has been coming to this spot for some time now and she would always rave about it to me. Had the time to visit the other day and immediately knew this place would become a staple for me. Tried several things because I was secretly wondering if there was something I wouldn't like ahah, but everything was wonderful.. tried an oatmeal cookie that was soft inside, crispy outside. Tried the Avocado toast that was INCREDIBLE I don't know how they dress the avocado but it's amazing. The Italian tuna felt so fun to have. The breakfast burrito was probably the least impressive to me, but was still great regardless! My wife also had some matcha pistachio pastry that I didn't get to try that she said was incredible. Thank your Clark Street family!

I love their Danish rye loaf but I am done coming for anything else. Despite there always being more employees than customers, it's always a 30 minute ish wait for a pricey but mediocre coffee. Pastries and sandwiches are not impressive for the price either. I wanted to like it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A year ago when I visited, I was very impressed with their Jambon-beurre, they were using a nice cut of prosciutto. A few days ago, I ordered the same, what I got was a salty ham sandwich. Why call it the same Jambon-beurre and use completely different meat now???

In Short, It’s a good spot but I wouldn’t wait in line to eat or to sit. Quickie type place for pasties and sandwiches. With a few more details, There was a little bit of a wait to get to the cashier to order. Normal line nothing crazy. Staff delivering the sandwiches were nice but behind the counter it felt a bit gloomy. Regardless let’s move on to the food. The almond croissant had a good flavor but it felt more like a scone rather than a flaky croissant. I liked it but not the texture I was expecting. The breakfast sandwich was fantastic. Loved it. Prob that’s what you should order if you’re reading this. Parking might be a bit challenging and if you’re going there to sit on your laptop or work, most tables are already taken and don’t get up very often. Nonetheless, decent spot.

Solid selection of baked goods. Quiche seemed a bit too rich, but croissants were decent.
