I love this place! The coffee is great and the service is too. All of the staff members are super friendly. I’ve had a few of their food items and have always really enjoyed it, and since having to go gluten free I’ve been getting their gluten free chocolate banana loaf and I am blown away every time. The texture is on point and easily better than most dessert loaves I’ve had. It’s been hard for me to find a GF treat that’s worth all the sugar so I really appreciate them having this option. This area is a desert for independent coffee shops so I really appreciate Blackheart for making such a lovely space in our community for people to gather.
Ordered French toast from this place this morning and it was burnt. I couldn’t even finish eating it. It’s too bad I was at work so unable to take it back for a refund. Disappointed that we wasted our money on this.
I’ve forgot my pictures because I was crazy hungry…I’ll post em next time. Me and my girl went there, because that’s the only cafe around her office. Expecting nothing but decent coffee. However… wow!!!! The coffees and teas are very discreet and decent, more over than those their sandwiches and dishes are exquisite!!!!! Taste toothsome!!!! Awesome folks!!! Their breads buns and the way of finishing were all perfect…. One thing I do wanna recommend is would you be able to use China cups and the dishes have to be done on the actual plates? I think the chef would be great on the plating as well!!!! I’m a master chef. So in this case, the plating is so mattered… just simple suggestion for your reputation in the area!!! Great job well done folks!!!!! Definitely our spot to check !!!!
Every item is expertly crafted. The atmosphere is pleasant. The seating is plentiful. Might be the best coffee shop in the valley overall. Open early and often. Not lacking in fans, if you know you know. Only thing is... it closes at 3pm everyday 🥲 the service is excellent.
The atmosphere is pleasant. The furniture and common areas are already worn out and it would be nice to update; ) Menu and prices are normal. The service is average, the administrators have something to do.

Newish hip spot to be seen of the beginning boarder of Lake Balboa. Each coffee made individually and to perfection. Like the barista was making it for themselves. More on the pricer side but a great vibe non the less. If you're looking for a place to work from they have healthy food options/ strong wifi. but limited parking and are only open till 3pm.

A great place to relax, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and be with friends. I love the avocado toast with its original mix of greens, dressing and ripe avocado on an artisan bread toast.
Okay, so this is officially my new favorite coffee place!!! I came in for a Matcha Latte, and it is literally perfect here. I've had the matcha with regular milk and oat milk--both are great. I've noticed that most coffee places have a really hard time making a good matcha latte, but Black Heart knows how to do it right! I also really like getting their Butterscotch Latte, which is seriously fantastic, and I've tried their Eucalyptus White Mocha too, and that was pretty tasty. It's pretty expensive here for a drink, but 100% get what you pay for. If you are in the mood for a good coffee, Latte, mocha, or tea, this is the spot! :)

This upscale local coffee spot sets the bar! Awesome food, cordial staff and killer coffee. What's not to like. Oh - and a new couch.

A chill, hip coffee shop with always excellent customer service and even better food. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. My favorite order is the Bouquet, with eggs, cheese, potatoes, bacon, jalapenos, salsa, and sour cream in a whole wheat tortilla. Insider secret: Order the iced berry tea, sweetened or unsweetened.
