One of my favorite coffee shops in K-Town To begin, the main thing - the coffee - is quality here. They pay great attention to the ratios and use a fresh modern roast supplied by Onyx Coffee Roasters out of Bentonville, AR (an award winning roaster if I must say 😄). I always try a cappuccino as my litmus for various coffee shops and their ratios and roasts hit the modern roasting trajectory on point. Parking: There is a validated garage around the corner on Hobart. Charging and wifi: Yes on both accounts and with plenty of outlets available Size: Spacious with a good deal of natural light - it's a cool and clean environment but not on the artistic edge Restrooms: Yes and consistently clean Food: I would recommend their breakfast sandwich and their pastries are always fresh I would definitely return (and have been haha) - If you go let me know your thoughts!
This place is super overpriced but I love the vibes, so you're really just paying for that tbh.
I liked the strong scent and taste of espresso
One of the best coffee shops in LA-- extremely high quality matcha and coffee. Crazy good pastries. And a great place to get work done--plenty of outlets and a long community table to nestle into.
Cool place, nice coffee.
Cute and trendy coffee and tea shop. Great simple design. Service good, but slightly impersonal. Pastries and desserts are not made in house; however they do get desserts from Artelice Patisserie and they are unbelievably delicious. Drinks are good too. Must try.
Iced honey latte, almond milk & all the food!
to us: We got the tiramisu latte and the earl grey milk tea. For food, we got spinach croissant and spam musabi croissant. to others: I know this place is famous for their tiramisu latte, but I thought it was a too bitter to have a clean taste for a coffee. It kinda overpowers the espresso too much. I thought their early grey milk tea was significant better choice. My wife liked the croissant but the kimchi croissant was a bit saltier for a light snack. to owners: nice little place with great service. The edge seats are not being utilized because people overcrowd the tables. Something to think about
Great specialty coffee and friendly staff that knows how to make it properly! Don’t miss free 90 min retail parking in the building garage.
I waited 25 minutes for an avocado toast. No.
Tiramisu latte was life changing 😭😭 savory food was eh but would return to try more of the pastries, appreciated that they heated up the kouign amann
3.5 stars. Busy coffee shop with lots of working individuals. It’s loud and it can be hard to find seating. They have good options of seats, it’s just becomes a waiting game during their busy hours. Drink - I got the matcha latte with light ice and they fill 70% of the cup with drink and 30% is ice. With light ice, they left decent amount of room on top. I first got it with no sweetber and it was so bland so I asked for sweetner. Matcha latte was below average. Wouldn’t recommend it. Menu - average menu with no speciality drinks or food items. They do offer macaroons and mouse cake. Price - above average. The price for the sandwiches is overpriced and the drinks are also above average compared to other local cafes with the same drinks. Location - it’s conviniently located on a major street so it’s easy to locate but there’s no parking. limited street metered parking Staff - they try to work fast and is kind Cleanliness - tables aren’t wiped down but it could also be because a seat is always getting taken.
High quality coffee but too crowd.
My favorite coffee place in LA. The quality of coffee is great.
All time best coffee and hang out spot
The best coffee in Koreatown if not Los Angeles. Sandwiches are little pricy but delicious.
Love the interior design of this cafe! 😌
awsome coffee.
This was on my list of ktown coffee shops to hit — definitely a gem. It’s modern and got a black and wooden, classy interior look with cute light bulbs hanging in the ceiling. The architecture is pleasing. The food and drink were really good too — I had the lavender matcha latte and it was the right sweetness, with oat milk. You could definitely taste the hint of lavender which I appreciated because I’ve had lavender matchas that didn’t taste any different from matcha lattes. I also had the kimchi avocado toast — the avocado was super fresh, and the toast was crisp and loaded with kimchi and avocado and the other toppings. It was a nice original touch to the avocado toast. My friend had the cold brew and truffle avocado toast and she liked it as well. It gets busy right before noon; we came at an earlier time (10 ish) and there wasn’t too big of a line. It has a few outdoor seating spots, outlets inside (against the walls) so it definitely is a place where you can do work but it could also be too crowded for some people. Parking situation is okay — I think there might be parking for the shop specifically but it might be through a garage or valet; we parked meters on the street. Would highly recommend visiting this coffee shop in ktown for the avocado toast! Great place to catch up with friends
Be careful the cups and lids are in very low quality. When I tried to open the lid it gave me pretty deep paper cuts cross 3 fingers. Please consider upgrading your cups. Coffee was good.
