Didn’t plan to make a stop while on the road, but I’m so glad I did. This place has many options and I opted to eat at the restaurant they have inside.Dalia and Eileen gave great recommendations and I opted to have the Mac & Cheese. Great place with great service!
Great place to stop on your way to and from SoCal. Restroom is clean. It has a playground for kids to run around, shops for a variety of snacks and souvenirs.
Lots of cool stuff; from fudges, candies, jams, sauces, fudged, and much more. We bought a bottle of wine and fudge. Wow, delicious!
So we come here for the maple almonds and butter toffee pecans. Waiting for them to offer maple pecans! It's a shopping place that provides a stretch break when traveling on 5, but this shop just keeps going! Flavored almonds/pecans/peanuts/pistachios/etc, Handmade candies, Ice cream, Coffee, Old school shooting games, antiques upstairs, and a restaurant in the back. Apparently the restaurant is owned by someone else, but seemed to be popular. We didn't try that...just got some coffee with the nuts! Theres plenty of parking, BUT getting OUT of parking lot when it's crowded isn't easy...that light takes FOREVER to turn!
Brovo farms has a niche cheese making business that you càn take home or to enjoy at your destination. Lots of unique items.
Such a fun rest stop!
Love this fun stop on our way to San Francisco! Lots to see, food, snacks, very well kept and clean!
Food was great at wild Jack's. All their souvenirs were fun. Flavored milks were good too.
Fun rest stop for road trip from So Cal to No Cal or on the way back. Great place to stop with small children to stretch your limbs and use restrooms. They have a playground area that looks like a Backlot of a Western movie. There are also picnic tables so adults can relax while the kids run about. Great place to pickup souvenirs and local farmers market items. Candy, jams, honey, spices and cheese Oh My! Has great ice cream shop. My only complaint is the food served here is just basic hamburgers etc and nothing special about them. If you want a rest stop with better food would go to our standby Anderson's Pea Soup
What a great stop. Perfect for the weary travelers with large easily accessible restrooms, a restaurant, and ice cream parlor, gifts and Nick nacks, all kinds of wines from different wineries for sale, food and snack items are abundant and locally sourced from central vally growers. Antiques and vintage collectibles a plenty are for sale. Play area for the kids, area for your dogs to do their thing. You have to go there when you are traveling north or south bound through Kettleman City which is a stone's throw away from the I-5 freeway. Great place to make that freeway transition. It's a one stop shop. Plenty of parking. If you've never gone there during your road trips, you simply must stop. You'll love the place.
This is the best place to stop after a long drive up or down from LA. Fun western themed outdoor play area for the kids, gifts of all sorts, Coffee, Ice Cream, various snacks/ dried fruits and pretty good BBQ. (That was my experience anyway) I absolutely love the positive vibe in here from the music to the friendly employees. It’s clean and air conditioned too!
Great rest stop to get snacks, small gifts, and use the restroom. They have alot of snacks, ice cream parlor, and a very yummy restaurant! If you haven't checked this place out your missing out!
Honestly great restroom stop (located in the middle of the strip, there are entrance doors nearby). Cute shop if you like souvenirs or need snacks. The onsite bbq restaurant isn’t the greatest, skip, have In n Out instead.
This place looks nice only and relaxing view . I only got a chance to visit through outside was on a business trip. plenty of places to eat walk purchase souvenirs and many other things. Next time I'll come I will make sure to visit inside and take a ride on the train.. nice place for takeout family and friends..
Clean and organized store on the main level and an interesting assortment of antiques on the second floor. The Bravo Farms complex design matches the antiques it offers for sale.
Perfect place to stop with the fam between LA and SF. Good food, dog park, outdoor picnic area to eat and drink a beer while the kids play. Adorable farm antique store. Can’t believe I’ve never known about this place. Will be back.
My favorite pit stop whenever I'm traveling from Nor cal to LA. They have a cute bbq restaurant inside that I haven't tried yet. It's connected to an ice cream shop which is good. You can't go wrong with ice cream and it's connected to a little market with Knick knacks, fresh fruits, & cheeses. I love the selection of fresh fruits I always pick up a bag of fruits. I always make it a point to stop here & I always tell my family friends about it!
My go to stop on the 5. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms (complete with portrait gallery), good food at the restaurant, infinite snacks (both packaged and fresh) and drinks, and impulse buys for purchase in the shops. Many gas stations nearby. Just the right amount of cool old west stuff (photos, cross section of a huge tree) and hokey kitsch (animatronic bears, shooting game).
This place has some of any and everything! Nice and friendly people. And if you need snacks for the road, they have them all, healthy or savory. You have to stop and shop this spot.
This is a great place to stop asking I-5. It's kids and pets friendly, and it's good a very relaxing vibe. The restaurant's food is very good too. Very good American/BBQ fare. The side patio area has a play area for kids with slides that are built into little model buildings of the old wild west / gold rush era. Very fun.
