I absolutely love this shop! Their seasonal drinks are so delicious and not overwhelming like other seasonal drink at other shops. They’re a must try! Staff is friendly and helpful so makes it all the better. Their new location allows for more seating which is a nice addition to their amazing service!

Love Calavera and have been a fan and watched them grow from the beginnings to today. Excellent, coffee, merch, cool atmosphere and Evan has consistently attracted great people to work at Calavera. This is the real deal reminiscent of early CA espresso house culture
Best coffee and staff! My favorite is the iced vanilla latte or chai latte with a shot of espresso!
The baristaa here are so kind and welcoming! I had the lavender latte and it was delicious!
Calavera IS that hot local coffee shop you want to spend your time at! They have great vibes, modern music is poppin, it's super chill to study or do light hw and if you go often enough, they start to recognize you and you vibe super well with the staff!!! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a dope local coffee shop to support, Calavera is to die for !!! Ps. Support your local coffee shops! They're always great vibes <3
The Hero that Hollister has been waiting for. First time stopping in. I grew up in Hollister and come back a few times a year. This town has been starving for great coffee and here it is. While they are not roasters they source some of the best roasters country wide and are always looking for the best. The staff are awesome. Super friendly and knowledgeable of each of the menu items. I was very happy with the espressos that I drank as well and the pastry that we ordered. Can’t wait to come back another time to try other items. Keep it up.

Even though I’ve lived in Hollister for years, it took an out-of-town friend to bring Calavera to my attention. And I’m sure glad. Now, wherever I want to treat myself to REAL COFFEE, Calavera is my go to spot. Cool environment. Great coffee. Friendly staff. Keep up the good work. Favorite drink is a hot Villain, and the banana pudding is delicious.

Yes, this place was good. We looked at downtown Hollister for a coffee shop but no go. Then my husband found this place on maps. Viola! It had really good coffee and the people were so friendly.
They don't have Wi-Fi here, which was disappointing, so I ended up going to the McDonald's nextdoor for their Wi-Fi. Coffee was alright. I really like the design on the cups and on the cardboard sleeves.
On the way (road trip) to Pinnacle National park, we found this beautiful little coffee shop. The interior was really cool 😎. They had really good coffee and not so expensive. Server/Owner was super cool and we had good conversations and Freshly brewed coffee. They also have pre-made cold beverages and those were good too. Would recommend this place to everyone.

The coffee was great. Very smooth and flavorable. Perfect temperature. The design – flawless. The only reason I didn’t get a five was because they do not offer any sugar-free syrups and there was no restroom. Otherwise – a great place.
You have to try the villain hot or cold ☺️
