I might be biased, but i love this place. Never had a bad experisnce there.
Hands down, one of the best breakfast places I have been to from coast to coast. Don't let the name fool you. There is way more on the menu than just excellent Cajun cooking. Top 5 chilaquiles in my experience. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a real treat. The service was friendly and prompt, and the diner atmosphere is authentic. If you are a foodie, this is the place to go to when you're in Goleta!
Great place! I always get chilaquiles and always delicious at this location! They even serve dune coffee ☕️ all I have to say is great atmosphere and great servers!
Great crabcake benedicts. Wish they still had espresso
Great service and scrambled eggs😁
Great comfort food for any meal, just gotta get there early on busy mornings.
Good food and exceptional service
Great breakfast & best burgers in town!
Quite a popular place, full boarding during breakfast. Reviews on the Internet are good, but the reality is disappointing. We ordered benedict and an omelette, they chose hash brown, both hash browns were burnt, this can be seen in the photo. I asked for a replacement because it was impossible to eat, after which they brought me exactly the same burnt hash brown. Before ordering, I asked the waiter to explain the details of the dish to me, he rolled his eyes and sighed. The service here is as burnt as hash brown
Employees were extremely nice and helpful.....thank you. Diana
Our 1st time, got a table for 5 right away, greeted immediately and took our drink order. Server was stellar, very friendly, food came quickly. Big portions, nicely plated, tasty. Shrimp po boy was the hi lite, beignets were the only disappointment… dense with no flavor, lacked salt& sugar in the dough. Overall, recommend this cafe, large menu, well executed food, great service, we’ll definitely be back!
A neighborhood dinner that is only open for breakfast and lunch. Extensive menu for both. The lunch menu features both great Cajun and traditional diner items. We arrived just before closing and they provided us with great service and food. One of us had the eggs Benetic One of the us had the Chiquies. One of us had the beef dip sandwich. I had the red beans and rice with Andioulle sausage We all agreed that we had a great meal,
Big portions that outpace the sticker prices on the menu
My first time there at the new location in Goleta. My breakfast there was very satisfying.. The only problem is not enough customer parking spaces. Other than that the service and menu is excellent.
Great spot to get some great food. Never knew how busy it gets, but well worth the wait.
For the first time we passed by and there was no line at this location so we gave it a try. I'd been battling gout so I couldn't have my favorite shrimp and grits, or even jambalaya. Instead, I had the blackened chicken. It was a little bland and disappointing. A sprinkle of creole seasoning I discovered among the condiments helped. Rice was OK, but the coleslaw was bland too. It came with a big slab of cornbread, which is always good. She was happy with her breakfast burrito, it was the same quality we're used to at the other locations. Service was average, not what we're used to. The bland chicken and the service pulled my rating down to three and a half stars, but I rounded up to four because the shrimp and grits probably would have made me very happy that day.
Delicious food and great service!
Terrible customer service from the manager today 1/15/23. Not sure how Cajun can have him as a manager if he doesn't care if a customer gets injured on the property and doesn't even bother to check on the injured customer and instead continues to service people.
Eggs Benedict and breakfast burritos are awesome. Quick coffee and water refills.
The food was excellent, and so was pricing and customer service! Try the Jambulaya and you won't regret it, just don't have it too spicy. The location is tiny and had too many people tightly packed in; that's the only con.
