I walked to the door as they were closing (not knowing that were closing) and instead of the girl acknowledging me or saying they were closed she made direct eye contact & locked the door in my face.
The coffee here is pretty good! I got the Tantalizing Turkish, and it was very smooth. My Wife got the Ginger Snap and she really enjoyed it. I didn't order any pastries, but they looked good. The workers were very nice and they are very knowledgeable. I'll absolutely return

cofee good, staff management very good and very professional.
I really don’t want to write this review but I have no choice. I came in on Tuesday around 3 pm got greeted by Nancy, which treated me with the best service ever. The drink I ordered did not taste right, which is no problem I went back and shocker the girl with the red hair started being disrespectful and made faces. Nancy re-made the drink for me and it was probably one of the best. Nancy deserves a five star, unfortunately others mess that opportunity up.
A lovely coffee shop with yummy drinks/snacks. The tables are nice and clean, the staff are very friendly, and the shop itself is very aesthetic. A great place to chill with friends or to get some work done. bonus: it is right next to CSUF!
This is a review on this particular Philz coffee in S. cal against other Philz coffee in the Bay Area (origin). Coffee is relatively weaker, at times taste watered down (3 star rating). It really depends on who makes it. I did also experience a few that closely resembles the original strength. (Been a vivid Philz customer since 2013 in the peninsula Bay area).
1. The coffe was amazing 2. The muffins were outstanding 3. Most of all what impressed me was the interaction with the employees. I have never been asked to taste my coffee to see if I want to change how its made. The care with which I was handled is truly a tribute to how much the staff cares. WELL DONE!
Typical Philz, it's well worth the detour
Great place to have a meeting or connect with a friend. Friendly and fast baristas, the coffee was much rounder, smother, and had less of a bitter finish than your "typical" coffee shop that rhymes with far-chucks... I'll be back.
The coffee comes at a drinkable temperature and doesn't burn my mouth when I take that first drink. The baristas make amazing coffee and I love picking it up before work.

Nicest staff and Best coffee on the planet
Although I love Philz, today’s service is utterly disappointing. We got there at 1 and waited beyond 30 mins for our two coffee orders. See pic for proof. We noticed that others coffee were quickly called out while ours was taking a century. When we came up it turns out that due to the chaos they forgot about our order. So disappointing and frustrating. The silver lining is that the new barista that took over our order made it good. Still not enough emotional compensation for what occurred but we’re hoping that this won’t happen next time. -ex philz barista who never let this happened before
Always love the visit. Mint Mojito coffee is the best! Atmosphere inside the cafe is also awesome. Plenty of kind staffs and enough parking space outside the building. One only minus is that they dont offer drivethru. Driveways are open but only for the mobile order pickup.
Amazing coffee - philtered soul ( medium roast and give you kick of morning boost feel and Mocha Tesora is kind off creamy and very soothing just to feel your morning.They have unique blend of coffee like any other franchise. Also their pastries are good they had good crusty outside and softer inside 🥐 . Looks like bagels are good to try. Also monkey bread is good too. Ambience of the store is amazing as well. On whole it’s was cool spot to hangout especially morning!
Every barista is lovely and provides great service. Amazing coffee. Not like starbucks, so don't expect lattes or espresso-based drinks. Their artisan roasts are why I keep coming back. Every handcrafted is amazing. I recommend the Mint Mojito iced. BRING A SWEATER AND BLANKET. ITS COLD IN HERE.
There's something special about Philz coffee that doesn't get mentioned enough, their welcoming and consistent quality of both taste and service. I come here primarily for the coffee but especially so for the setting and inviting space that allows me to work and study well. I'm a student and find that I can get uninterrupted and mutual production without worrying about distractions that may come at other cafe's. They are always well staffed and have a high caring team of baristas who carry themselves with good spirits. I am a huge fan of this place as the rating suggests but it's the all encompassing aspects that set Philz and especially this location apart from other cafes and coffee shops. Keep it up, ill be coming back soon. Ciao!
