We were pleasantly surprised by this place… it is a small little place in a little town 100 miles from LA. We stopped here on our way to the Bay Area for lunch… it played some calming Indian bhajans( devotional songs) … we loved the ambience and decor of the place.. the food was freshly made and took a while to arrive…so if you want a place to dash in and out this is not the place for you… but if you want some authentic Indian home style vegetarian food you’ve got to stop here… we had the dal , khuchadi , thali( subzi , rice/phulka, dal, yoghurt) and naan; all were very well made and delicious…
Great find. Very friendly team. Welcoming. Wonderful vibe. Amazing fresh and tasty vegan dishes. Can’t wait to go back.
We stay in the hotel near the restaurant and this was one of the best dinners we ever had on a road trip. The beef less bulgogi mild version, the red dot pizza and the custard for dessert were incredible. Highly recommended if you pass near, don't miss it!
If you dream of ending a hike with Parathas, pakodas and chai, this place fulfills it for you
It was a very peaceful place with great music too. The workers are very nice. The food tastes great. Definitely try the coconut hot chocolate and the buckwheat pancakes!
It was wonderful, every bit of food was some of the most delicious I've ever had! It was so nice to finally not have to worry whether something was vegetarian or not and to know right away that it all was. The place is in a beautiful little valley right next to the mountain, and the decor and Atmosphere is familial and wonderfully built to make the customer's meal perfect!
Really nice staff and awesome food. We got the stuffed paratha, beefless bulgogi, and kitchari. Would recommend all of them! Beautiful views too, which was nice to look at while we waited. They were very upfront about how long the food would take to prepare, but we didn’t mind at all.
Good ambiance and service. Everything is made fresh. But the taste was not that great. Samosa filling did not have much seasonings and the layer was bit uncooked. Malaysian curry was good but had to order rice with it, aa the rice noodles were not sufficient. They also charge extra for samosa chuttnies.
The secret is out, so I wanted to contribute my review. This place will make you want to find a reason to drive up or down I-5. It is spectacular, with everything made to order, fresh, and high quality. We are never disappointed, but definitely have our favorites, including the tofu curry and saag paneer. Expect to wait or place your order in advance. Some things are worth the wait!
We weren't too hungry, but saw this inviting restaurant along the road in Frazier Park and decided to get something light. We were immediately captivated by the atmosphere and the staff. The menu was so extensive that we had a hard time deciding. We shared a fresh salad and Mongolian Stir Fry, along with a Mango Lassi, all delicious. It was so good and the people so nice, that we decided to return the following day for breakfast and takeout for lunch. We highly recommend this restaurant.
This place is really special. The menu is amazing, everything made fresh to order, and everyone is super friendly. Great mellow vibe. Worth the detour for vegans and everyone else.
This place is a gem! There were so many great sounding options it was hard to pick just two entrees. We ordered the shawarma and gyro and both were flavorful and delicious!
I've come here thrice on our way to LA. It took over an hour for the food to get ready the first time, so we ordered food an hour in advance the third time, it still took over half an hour and the order came out wrong. I love the food here and appreciate the ambience but the speed is very disappointing, especially during a road trip. I'm probably in the minority when I say I'm not coming back here again.
Best meal we’ve had in ages! Wonderful food and atmosphere and very reasonable. The naan was excellent, as was the tofu curry and the Mongolian stir fry!
This is an eclectic little restaurant that feels so cozy and welcoming. The menu was extensive, as a vegetarian I was honestly overwhelmed by the number of delicious options. The food did take a little while to come out, because it was all made fresh and it was well worth the wait. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through the area.
Great Vegetarian food, located in Frazier Park. Just be prepared to wait for your dish or call in ahead of time.
The best food I've ever had in the usa! We went here because of all the good reviews and they were right. It is a nice change of scene from all the other places you can go to for food. Friendly people, will definitely recommend and would love to go back to try out the rest of the food options!
One of the coziest Indian restaurants to find in the mountains! The food was delicious, worth the wait as it was crowded. More than a restaurant I felt homey, much more like home cooked food! PS: was busy eating so no photos😁
Extremely welcoming environment and nourishing food. Amazing creativity with the meals. Everyone should stop by here :)
If you are not in a hurry this is a good place to eat. Both times I have eaten here, the food was really good. Also both times the wait for the food to get to our table was over an hour. The atmosphere is pleasant and the people are very nice. It is expensive however the portions are very generous which in my opinion justifies the price. I will definitely eat here again. Would give 5 stars if wait time was less. Glad this restaurant is in our little community.
