This place was perfect. It was beautiful and the staff was so friendly and hospitable. The breakfast wasn’t a tray of pastries. We got a full plate of hot, home cooked food. 5 stars isn’t enough!

This hotel was a whole experience I will never forget. The architecture from the outside was beautiful, and the inside is equally (if not more) stunning! We stayed in the Heron room. Our room, along with the rest of the mansion, was impeccably themed, very clean, and comfortable. I loved that they had tea, a cookie platter, and a charcuterie platter available in their main area so that you can enjoy a mini tea time in the common rooms. I also loved the breakfast. There were teas, coffee, juice, and water. For food, there was a fruit platter, breakfast quiche, bundt cake, sausage sandwiches, and apple french toast. It was delicious and felt so special! We will be recommending this hotel and do hope to return again one day!

Davida, the old housekeeper that works there, cornered me in room while I was employed here. She tried to get into an argument with me, and then escalated the situation so badly she told me to go outside and "fight her" and when I told her no and screamed at her to leave me alone, she threw her fist in my face. I quit shortly after because she lied about it to the manager about the situation. (Probably to keep her job, since she's so much older it might be har to find employment anywhere else. )🤷‍♀️ The building is beautiful, and the rest of the staff are so loving and pay such great attention to detail! Other than that scary experience, I'd probably recommend this wonderful B&B. Not to anyone I know personally, but still.

A magical little place. Everything was so perfect! We loved our room, so cozy and everything we needed. The whole house was so cozy, fires blazing and perfect to curl up with a tea. The breakfast was amazing too! Great stopping point for the redwoods. We will definitely be back!

Perfect B and B in Ferndale California. Historic property with period furniture. Great breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique experience.

We didn't stay in one of the gorgeous rooms. We went for high tea which was nice but not on par with other tea rooms. The most enjoyable part was the tour given by Courtney. She was WONDERFUL! Whatever was lacking at high tea was made up for by Courtney who gave us a delightful tour. I can't say enough about her.

Gingerbread mansion Inn is old but very cute and a block from the main street. We stopped by on our way home from the Oregon coast to LA area. The main street in Ferndale has cute shops, but most closed by 4pm. The innkeeper and the kitchen staff are very nice and helpful. Ask for the 1st floor if anyone in your household is handicapped. They have a lovely handicap room on the 1st floor.

An absolutely amazing experience! This place is in pristine condition! Our room was beautiful and had all the amenities even bath robes and slippers. The afternoon tea and wine time was a delightful touch. The breakfast was tasty and came out fast. The whole experience was simply charming and the staff was beyond helpful! If you can get a room here I highly recommend you stay multiple nights!

A beautiful B&B in an adorable town. We arrived a little later, and the lady welcoming us was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well appointed. We were not impressed at all when the breakfast provided. For such a beautiful place, and the history that goes along with it, one would expect a more intimate experience and better food and coffee especially for the price.

Beautiful Inn - location of our wedding 😍 Update: I want to have my anniversary here but there's no options for babies. I emailed them and there's no response. I'm very unhappy.

Beautiful Victorian mansion in the heart of Humboldt county. Haunted probably, but I was unable to detect any ghosts even with my advanced knowledge of phantasm detection. I have watched 3 seasons of Ghost Hunters.

Wonderful staff with great perks. They go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and pampered stay. Angel, the innkeeper truly lives up to her name by providing you with the utmost care and happy-go-lucky personality.
