As a local I enjoy Safeway's bagels, better atmosphere
Got coffee and Mexican hot chocolate and a salt bagel with egg. Coffee was alright. More milk than coffee. Couldn't really taste any spices in the Mexican hot chocolate. Bagel was okay. It was just salt bagel and egg.
Very cool spot. Build your own bagel or choose from their specials or scram-bagels. Open as early as 7am so perfect spot for travelers staying overnight and wanting to hit the road early. They have a cool thing called the slug bagel that's shaped like a maple bar.
Great food and service but kind of over priced.
Wonderful cute little place. Was expecting more variety but what they have is good.
This place used to be rad. Now it’s over priced bagels with mediocre toppings and sub par service. $20 for two basic bagels…makes me sad.
Gluten free everything bagels are the bomb 💣 I order a dozen or two every time I'm in town. And I make family and friends bring me some whenever they visit. 🥯
*Be careful* with the “build your own” bagels. You’ll get to a $18-20.- bagel before you know it, which is silly, sorry. They charged me $7 JUST FOR THE SPREAD. Then $8.- the protein on top, plus the bagel… how much is a tub of that thing, $150!? Try to go with their favorites, mod your own bagel type and yes you’ll get a delicious bagel for triple the usual price, not 6x.
I absolutely loved the bagels and the vibe of this place!
Love this place every time I come! They just sponsored an environmental volunteer event by putting together an incredible spread and helping feed a ton of environmentalists cleaning up Humboldt Bay. Thanks to the two that worked so hard to put it together!
Great little place in the heart of Eureka. Stopped in around lunch for some bagels and coffee to go. They were out of the 2 in kinds of bagels I wanted but I was able to substitute. The Americano I had was decent. The bagels I did get were fresh and really good. The service was really good as well. I'll definitely stop by the next time I go through Eureka.
I love Los Bagels and their bagels are definitely 5 star. I rate the food at 4 star because I feel the price is too high for the portion you get. BUT I love their "Los Guacamole" made with a jalapeño cheese bagel and that is totally worth it. It can get a little crowded, but I think that's just a downside of being so tasty. I also highly recommend the chili cheese knish, a great snack if you don't want a whole meal.
From the food to the service everything was fantastic! Always love going into local places to help support them.
I wanted 6 poppy seed, but they only had one left. So I took that one and 5 multi-seed. I had them put in a paper bag and when I got home opened the bag I was surprised on how stale they were. Also, I found the staff a little rude. I guess I will not be going there anymore.
This is just MY OPINION try it for your self. but my wife and I were passing threw looking for good begals because my breakfast usually consists of just a simple everything begal toasted with cream cheese so figured we would go here and try some of the local flavor. I got here its really nice cafe style begal joint with a cool Aztec/latino style decor thought this was cool but anyways. I order my food they were really fast i ordered a jalapeno begal toasted with cream cheese toasted NOTE they did not have an everything begal through this was kinda weird to be honest but whatever. my wife ordered a parmasan begal toasted with cream cheese got it togo because we had alot of traveling for the day. FINALLY THE FOOD REVIEW lol we thought the begals were a little to grainy for our liking and the bad part the cream cheese was tart/sour which really threw us off and to be honest kinda made me feel a little sick. to the taste was kinda this super Dill or lemon taste that we thought was completely unnecessary but anyways good place good people not so great begals is the moral of the story here at Los Begals here in Eureka California.
Got our order wrong but it was still good. They have excellent food, been going here for many many years. A local favorite.
Great food, gifts and service every time. We never miss a visit when in town!
Los Bagels is a community staple. They have a few locations with tasty bagels, including vegan spread options. I recommend getting generous amounts of carrot and olives piled atop your order for a filling bagel meal! Also tons of fun merch and a true piece of the Eureka/Arcata community.
Yummiest bagel I’ve ever had!! Menu is hard to read, but great customer service and super yum food :)
Trying to not go everyday! Been getting breakfast bagels for the last couple of years and they never seem to fail, pretty consistent. We have tried so many different types but i only seem to have one photo. They have many options for veggies and vegans too which makes it great to be able to share this place with everyone we know:) I love their food but not too keen on their coffees - just my taste I guess. We also often indulge in the Challah bread with currants which is amazing toasted.
