What a historic hole in the wall! Great atmosphere, cozy local feeling, no crowds, hidden and right off the 395. Accessible without snow cables, fair pricing, friendly staff, clean restroom.

Always a great stop in the way up to Mammoth! Friendly staff, good food, beautiful country all around ya, nothing better.

Nice warm fire place! Biscuits and gravy with bacon for me and pancakes for the kids hit the spot!

Best place on the east side of the Sierra! Try and hit the saw with your change if you can. Shakes are good, foods not bad but the service and the atmosphere is one of a kind 👌

The older gentleman in the tackle shop was awesome! 5 STARS TO HIM!!! I've come up to the area most of the time in September. Last was in October 2019. As for the waitress behind the counter was nice but knowledge and info of rock creek was NOT good. I've been to Tom's place many times over the past 30 yrs. The feeling/atmosphere has changed enough to notice.

Exactly what you expect from a mountain, lake, resort restaurant, bar, store. Good food for breakfast and amazing decore.

There was a time when Tom's actually served decent food. Those days have passed and now you are forced to overpay for microwaved garbage. Sad that the current ownership has chosen to accept such low quality in food and employees.

We have to have at least 1 breakfast there whenever we are in Bishop ca. It's 26 miles north on the 395 and always worth the drive!

A lot of history in this place! Well preserved and full of memorabilia. We had a hearty American breakfast with a side of country fried steak which I really recommend. Home made salsa is bomb! We enjoyed the family atmosphere and our friendly server.

Loved sitting at the round tables on the porch, and the service was so friendly! Sirloin steak was particularly good, and the fresh veggies were cooked perfectly.

This is a must stop on your way down the 395. Whether you are fishing or paddling at Crowley Lake, live in the area (lucky you), or are just driving by and are hungry never don’t stop here! This place has earned that right, surviving two pandemics, they must have it figured out. The place was clean, bathrooms included. The staff was very friendly and scenery while dining was very interesting and a good conversation starter. Oh, you want to know about the food, ok. So the prices are good and the food better. I’d definitely come back.

Good place to stay. (1)cabin was good: had full kitchen, nice sitting area, no tv . (2)They also have rooms: tiny rooms , everything is miniature, Lol! Common place to sit, have bbq… Staff are good, good restaurant easy access to hwy. Fine to stay

As long as I'm still alive and able to cast out a line I'll always be stopping at Tom's Place when I'm in the area. They got bait, ice, wood, and restrooms. They have most necessities that are needed although a larger inventory would be nice. If you're feeling lazy and want a good meal stop inside and grab a hot bite before heading back to camp.
