Baristas know how what they’re doing ! Highly recommended
Very good espresso shot and vanilla latte. The barista was very nice and provided info about the espresso shot. The seating in the store is great and it’s very clean. I recommend this coffee shop if you’re in the area! We will be back for sure!
This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area and I cannot think of anything bad to say. I exclusively get drip and it is consistently great.

Bad Coffee is great. Every time I come in I am kindly greeted and my coffee is made correctly and in a timely manner. Everyone who works here is very professional and friendly. This shop cares about dialing in their coffee. It is always clean and the music is tasteful. Never too loud. Excellence is a habit, not an act. Hats off!
I had high expectations for this place because 4.5 is a good google score. I went there and got mediocrity instead, but I guess I had it coming to a place called bad coffee. The coffee honestly seem watered down is a bummer but honestly the worst of it was how rude the barista was. (The guy who was working at 2/19/23 12pm)When I asked for a matcha strawberry he gave me a matcha and I asked where’s the strawberry and he rudely said it was in there. I didn’t see any strawberry but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I gave my matcha to my partner and sure enough there wasn’t any strawberry. On top of that the next customer asked how the barista day was and he said nothing. Maybe he was having a bad day because he looked so miserable. I understand off days but don’t take it out on customers. Either take the day off to cool off or just quit since your attitude effects people’s perception of the place. Probably do not see any reason to return. Mediocre coffee and rude service is not tolerable. If you are looking for better coffee and better service in Costa Mesa then I’d recommend Coffee Nature.
Tiniest $5 coffee I have ever had. Delicious but give me size options, this isn’t cutting it for the price but I’m a reasonable person from CO.
Coffee is legit. Got an americano and it was perfect. Very balanced and not overly tart like some specialty cafes.
Don't let the name or lack of building signage fool you. Their coffee is legit. The baristas take their time with every pour. The result is coffee perfection. Super glad I found this place. Will be back again and again.
Wish I could say much positive :(. Went here with 2 others and somehow the coffee just really wasn’t great all the way around! Iced coffee did not have flavor. Same with latte. And then beware—light-roast coffee, so plant milks will split (separate) & taste acidic! Won’t be back. What I did enjoy was the Meet the Source ball!
The coffee is exactly like it's name, Bad coffee. Ordered Cortado tasted super bland...so I asked for the ratio and barista said 15g coffee with 37g yield...well that's y it tasted like &#+*"....super watery.
My uncle passed away the same day I got coffee here the first time. The coffee was great but it will always be difficult to separate the two.
Barely tasted any coffee in oat milk latte.. perhaps they pulled a bad shot. It was weak or watery.
Good coffee, good service, good location, just needs your good company! Just made two more visits here in the past couple weeks. I love the consistency in all the above and they have a nice selection of hot teas as well!
Good flavorful espresso drinks. I spied TDS calculations (total dissolved solids, a measure of coffee in water) on a whiteboard in their kitchen, so you know that these people are serious. Also, great relatively quiet space (which really is not a given in today's cafes.) Definitely recommend!
Darling coffee shop with the best flat white I’ve ever had. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Love it!

great little coffee shop. awesome coffee, my preference is the Americano. super nice staff and a cool environment to hangout in. they have so many live plants and it really is a calm atmosphere.
Simple menu, but bruh do they do it right. I'm a soy drinker and they only have oat and almond milks, but they must put some magic in that steam wand because the almond milk always comes out so nice! The shots are always carmelly and smooth, and they really are just nice people. I'm a fan. UPDATE: Came back again and had an oatmilk latte with easy vanilla. Glorious. My only complaint is that it was a bit too warm inside, but maybe it was just the espresso making me burn up? 🤔
