So I stopped in and had a delicious cherry milk shake. Yummy..... Then I bought many bottles of olives, and a couple of jars of horseradish. Again yummy........so I am getting into my car at about 4:30 today(Thursday) And the ground starts shaking,(actually more like wiggling) got an alert on the phone and everything. I survived a California earthquake, yay!!!🤣🤣🤣 Stories to tell at home in Oregon Thank you Olive pit.......

Olive Pit has a store and a cafe. I usually avail myself of the cafe for lunch. The burgers are really good, and the young people manning the shop are friendly and efficient. If you have never been here, you owe it to yourself to stop in... I like to have a bite while charging my car, and have yet to be disappointed. And they have more styles of olives than I ever imagined existed; not just black and green, but jarred with jalapeños or garlic or just about anything you can think of Sometimes I stop in just to get a special jar just for my wife. Sadly, I really dislike olives, but she doesn't!

My wife went here as a child and it was my first time today and I was impressed with everything! Staff was friendly and made you feel like family.

I can't give any feedback about the actual quality of the food, because I didn't buy anything. I've heard about this place for years, and had a few extra minutes on my way north, so I stopped in. *Everything* was 2-3x what I would consider at all reasonably priced. One very small bag of pistachio brittle was about $15. I was going to get a milkshake to go, but those were $8-$9. For a milkshake. Good for them that there are people willing to pay those kinds of prices. I'm just not one of them.

I love that they let you sample the olives before you decide which one (or thirty) you are going to buy. I also LOVE the milkshakes. They've changes their hamburger patties though and those are subpar. But OLIVES are amazing!!! Updated April 6, 2023: They no longer let you sample olives; the sample bar is closed until further notice. Hamburgers still suck. Milkshakes are still awesome.

Loved the history lesson on Corning and olives. Their selection is phenomenal and as always taste great. Their deli BLT was flavorful. Perfect “pit” stop on your way through Northern Cali. Good people. Good eats!

I love the olives here and they have so many. Besides being a diner they have a store that sells olives, olive oil and so much more. The store is pretty big with a large variety of flavored and snacks. It a must stop on highway I5 even if you don’t plan to eat

If you love olives and anything related, you should really stop by and see the amazingly huge selection of them here!! They also have a really good burger and selection of uniquely delicious smoothies.

I used to buy fairly pricy cans of very large olives. Most I chose after trying a sample to see how they tasted. That's no longer an option and I suspect COVID us being used as the reason for removing the long time practice. That is of course ridiculous. I'm sure the Olive Pit will see a slow decline and then finally go out of business. That will be their own fault

The hot dog bun was super hard and not edible. The hot dog was good, and they gave plenty of toppings. The burgers were good, according to the husband and kids. The grilled cheese is awful.

Great sandwiches that have nothing to do with Olives. Huge selection of Olive products if you are interested. I got the works burger, and it was really tasty. Lots of parking, even for RV or big trucks.

A cute and busy place. Wonderful stuffed olives, balsamic, olive oils, wines, some candies, all made locally. I haven't eaten in the restaurant but if you want to buy anything from the gift shop make sure to cash in your 401k first because it is extremely expensive.
