Food was pretty decent all around except my steak had a nice line of tendon going through it, burnt at one end and the batter refused to stick to it, but even still was a solid chicken fried steak. The flour coating used here is top notch though, well seasoned. Would've rated higher if the food was worth the $18 tag. I'd come back and try something else though.
Can't believe I grew up in clovis and just went for the first time.
Always great service and the food is fantastic
Just tried this place for the first time today an wish I would’ve come sooner , Michelle and Cheyenne were very lovely made sure we were taken care of the whole restaurant is relaxing and gives a comfy cozy happy feeling , food is great staff is even better if you haven’t tried it yet get your butt in there definitely worth it ! Very clean a welcoming . I will definitely be back !
First time here, love the feeling very welcoming! Staff is super nice, place is clean and well put together, food is good overall definitely would recommend this place !
Best kept secret! Love this place
Horrible owner , rude
Cheyenne was attentive and friendly and the corned beef hash was delicious! Sausage gravy is better than the bacon gravy but they're both great! First time here and I'll say, "Check this place out!!" I even got sprinkles and conversation hearts on my hot cocoa!
In Clovis, charming, "old school" coffee shop with a very clean, updated, comfortable decor and friendly staff not to mention excellent food with hearty portions! It was just what we were looking for in Shaver Lake, but could not find after our three-night stay. We'll make it a breakfast/lunchtime tradition when heading home from Shaver Lake which unfortunately, no longer has a coffee shop that offers a good hearty, sit-down, dine-in breakfast.
A classic cafe with good service!
Not good at all. The hashbrowns are watery. The country potatoes tasted air fried and had exactly one small piece of onion and one small piece of bell pepper. It's a one and done for us.
My father in law recommended BS for their gravy and he wasn't wrong Best sausage gravy I've had since my mom's and they have a bacon gravy option also, which is delicious. We typically go in Saturday mornings and it's always fairly busy then, but we never wait long. The staff is attentive and always so sweet. Clean establishment, great small town feel.
Relaxed hometown feel. It seems to be under new ownership or management and they are doing a great job. Food is delicious. We rode our bicycles over for breakfast on a Saturday morning.
Loved, this place.... Reminds of a few places back home in the Midwest. Great food, service. If you like Old Fashion Dinner, I Highly recommend this place. 😀👍
1st time eating at BS in years. What a drop off. Cheap Sisco ingredients. Nothing is house made. Dennys quality at twice the price.
Absolutely disgusting! Frozen hash browns, frozen sausage patties, wonderbread french toast.
The worst food I've ever had at a restaurant. The cheapest ingredients you can buy and high prices for what you get. Do not eat here if you value your money or like tasty food.
Workers are attentive and get orders right when your orders have allergies. Food is amazing. Place is actually clean. Customer service is on the dot.
Love meeting up with my gfs for breakfast on my way through. Food is pretty good but the service is always lacking. And I have been when it’s slow and busy, service is always the same. They need to practice smiling and pretending they are grateful and happy to have customers. They are…almost absentminded about serving… Really cute inside
An unexpected surprise! Lovely place, coffee ‘s great and service is very good. Check it out if you’re around
