Solid coffee takeaway that is open at most hours which makes it a bonus when i'm needing my early morning caffeine hit.

Always enjoy a stop at Marcel’s, but this time the croissants were curiously round… 🤔 still tasty though…

Came here for my first time today with my husband (he came here several times when he worked for FedEx). The girl was very sweet. Had a iced chai, which was very good. Just the right amount of sweetness. Also had a ham and cheddar croissant which was also very good. My husband had the panini pesto chicken and a hot chocolate, both of which he loved. Also tried their pastries (apple tart and the pecan pie bar). Tart was good, but the pecan pie bar was just a little too sweet for me. Still very good though all around. We will definitely be back on our way through 😊.

Customer service is ehhh no greeting no eye contact. Seriously seems like she doesn’t want to be working. Pastries taste and appears to be old. The coffee is diluted, more milk then coffee. While visiting other customer walked in and was never acknowledged.

Great place, great line of products, just wish the City of Clearlake would be a little more supportive of new businesses and wouldn't force them to make upgrades the city should be responsible for,so much for our EXTRA tax dollars at work. Can't wait for it to open so I don't have to go all the way to Lakeport to spend my money.

It was a disappointing experience. The coffee drink was all milk no flavor. The sausage sandwich was in a muffin not toasted and so buttered it dripped off. The ham and cheese croissant was ok and the egg/pastry sandwich tasteless. Especially disappointing we’re the bakery goods. They were deserts and not morning pastures. No scones, cinnamon rolls etc. not going back .

I love the food very much the croissants were out of this world. But service was slow.

Friendly service, but diluted coffee and day old or older pastries. Was hoping for more, but COVID probably has brought the downturn.

Tasty coffee and good attention. Not the first time I attend this place. The guy is really nice. Also, you can’t leave the place without taking some pastry. All delicious.

Great espresso! Absolutely recommend the spinach puff pastry, I make it a part of my morning routine to stop in for espresso and a pastry! Excellent customer service and a positive atmosphere!

Big city delights with a small town charm! The eclairs we’re smooth and creamy, a dream really. The croissants, flakey and buttery, pillowy clouds of carb-y deliciousness! The owner-baker-tour guide was super friendly, very knowledgeable and gently quirky, an entertaining blend! 5 stars, 10 out of 10, 2 thumbs up! Make good choices, stop at Marcel’s!

Great small specialty restaurant. Morning coffee, excellent baked pastry and French style breads with selection of olive dipping oils. They make excellent specialty sandwiches, best in town.

Great place to eat especially if your doing big orders for work or family they killed it with the sandwiches and desserts
