Been coming here since I was a kid. It’s a quick reasonably priced Mexican-American style taqueria.. I’ve never had a bad meal here. They’ve been around forever so that should speak volumes.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
food was OK the guy could not take an order for the life of him 2 times to had the food made & It was wrong & had to retake it & have food made again & no discount

I joke that I've eaten here here so much that I've put their kids thru college, I fondly remember the original owner bussing the tables and greeting the customers, what restaurant owner does that? Ridiculously awesome prices, great food all the chips and salsa you could eat, and lightning fast service, from the super burritos, fiesta salads, taco tuesday, and hands down the most recognizable hoodys (I got 3!) La Comida will always be my #1 hands down top favorite place to eat in Chico

Good basic and inexpensive food.
It has fast service, they give you big portions, can always find a table. All their food is really salty tasting to me. My boyfriend loves it and it's always busy. Maybe it's just me. It's also reasonable. I personally do not care for their food .
Damien is a treasure! His customer service was over the top. His smile greeted me, his patience while I ordered & made me feel like I was at a class act restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful dinner Damien! Sorry if I butchered your name:)
I bought the #2 dish for take out. They offered me chips while I waited. It's a very friendly atmosphere and the customer service was great.

Great family/ friends hangout. Our family has been eating at La Comida for over 30+ years.
Basic home level Mexican. Always good, love the Chili Verde- lots of meat and tasty! Great people, fun atmosphere.
Taco Tuesday is the best!! Always busy whenever I go there!! Food was great too!!

Simple and easy and reasonably priced Mexican food. Look you're not going to get straight out of Mexico City tacos but this place has been a staple for a while and serves quick, cheap, well tasting Mexican fare. Always my go-to.
absolutely loved it. our local la comidas closed 15 years ago and I miss it. so visiting the last one was such a treat. the restaurant was clean and the staff was fantastic. I had the super burrito and it was just as good as always. we drove 14hrs to watch the seahawks play the 49ers. and eat at la comidas. really the restaurant was full of great young people and friendly.
Just stopped in for a quick bite. First visit since they reopened with new owner. Very friendly quick service. I will be going back
