Went in today for my first time and the older woman or owner wasn’t very friendly. She just stared at me with a blank upset face even after I smiled. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I won’t be returning here as I did not feel like it was a coffee shop that makes you feel welcome.

This Cal Java never has me leaving disappointed! Not only is their food amazing, but they always make my coffee order spot on! Their staff is super friendly and welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable taking the time you need to choose what you'd like to order. It doesn't get any better than this coffee shop!

Careful with what coffee you order, the white mocha tasted like all sweet no coffee. Not bad beyond that

Honey Cinnamon Latte: Meh. Tastes pretty much like a normal plain latte, albeit a good one. My constructive criticism: if you call out an order and nobody picks it up, call it out again. It's pretty loud in there. They probably didn't hear you over the milk frothing and such

Lattes are top notch and good for a quick pick-me-up. However; the massive cookies they have are a massive letdown, they are big, yes, but they taste like Dawn Dishwashing Soap. I go there many times but I had the cookies (PB and chocoChip) a month ago and today to see if it was just a fluke. But nope, the cookies taste like soap.

I loved coming here for coffee and homemade treats! Their black and white mochas are some of the best that I have ever tasted. Would highly recommend it!

Don’t get the croissant it’s a rip off. All bread no ham and cheese. Drinks are good

I go here every Saturday before I go to work. Coffee and a pesto egg sandwich. Tastes great and Bobby is always nice. 👍

Mmm this is seriously the best coffee place around! They have a ton of incredibly tasting flavors that will keep you going throughout the day. They also have 'normal' flavors too which are widely successful among those who don't need a fuss of flavors and like a humble cup of joe. They have well-trained employees who serve you with a smile and efficiency. I would definitely check this place out for all your java needs! :)

Really can't rate as I was in another part of same building. But it was clean, had out do sitting and people seemed to be enjoying themselves.

There aren't a lot of options per se, but everything tastes great and staff is very friendly. It's a worthwhile stop if you want a bagel sandwich and coffee or if you're just looking for coffee. Base coffee (black or with cream/sugar) is fairly priced. It's the flavored drinks (mochas etc) that are slightly over priced. This is probably similar to a starbucks in terms of pricing but this place has more charm. It's like the hole in the wall local spot. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but definitely worth it on the inside.

The Cal Java over on West East Avenue is my go to coffee shop for a delicious cup of coffee when I'm out and about. The house blend is superb! They offer a nice selection of coffees, coffee beans, teas, delicious breakfast burritos and other tasty treats. Plus, the service is always exceptional. One of the best spots in town in my opinion.
