One of my favorites. I always have a great experience at this cute restaurant. The chef is very consistent and the prices are very reasonable. Excellent service and friendly staff. BTW, there is parking in the back as well

We got hot drinks and warm pastries, and they were all fantastic. Friendly service even during a busy time. Highly recommended.

Stayed in Chester for work and ended up going here multiple mornings. Christi was frequently working the restaurant by herself and was nothing but friendly, fast, and efficient with our group of 8. The coffee is delicious and the food is quality and comes out fast! Highly recommend. (The restaurant is attached to a cool bookstore/gift shop but it was never "open" while we ate. However, Christi was still kind enough to sell me a book on behalf of the owner.)

Best iced Mocha I've ever had! Very reasonable price as well. Delicious Ghirardelli chocolate is the one I had today, but lots of other drinks and pastries, breakfast, lunch to choose from. I can't wait to come back and have a meal along with a delicious drink! Super cute atmosphere, love the cozy warm environment for dining in.

I just walked in for a coffee, ended up with a cappuccino, cranberry orange scone, and two books from the attached bookstore. Wonderful place, and the scone is to die for.

This place has such good food. Best breakfast I had in a long time. Staff was nice but senior staff were being tough to new staff in front of customers.

In the small, scenic mountain town of Chester, a great discovery is the lovely restaurant Cravings. My husband and I own a vacation home in the area, and we know all the local eateries well. Cravings is always worth a visit. Breakfasts and lunches are delicious and offer many selections. The owners put their heart into the menus and it has paid off. The chef, also one of the owners, is very creative with food ingredients. GF and other dietary needs are also covered. The restaurant atmosphere is homey and welcoming, the building like a mountain cabin located near the Feather River. There is outside dining available and a unique and delightful book store attached to the restaurant. Dont miss perusing there. These owners have kept Cravings alive throughout the pandemic and the Dixie fire. Your patronage will support this local gem.

WOW talk about FLAVOR!!! I’m a pretty picky breakfast gal, and the Soy Chorizo Hash was out of this world good! Also had the Oatmilk Chai & that was quite rich in the best way. Unfortunately I’m just passing through on the PCT but if I was in the area again I’d definitely be swinging back by here :) fast & great service too! What more could you want??
