The best coffee and coffee beans in the Bay Area!
Ever since I found this shop, I’ve been coming here at least once a week! Their coffee are so good (the beans they sell are amazing too!). My favorite go-to are the ice mocha borgia, iced voodoo, and ice vanitte.
I stopped by to pickup a couple of bags of beans. Friendly service and the different bean types were well explained. They also have decaf and are open later than most coffee shops on a Sunday afternoon. A great recommendation on both the Redcab espresso bean and Decaf bean for our home coffee machine. Look forward to returning ☕👍
On March 26 at 8:15 the blonde girl was very rude and when I didn’t hear her call my order because they were all too busy gossiping with eachother, she rudely called out my order and then they all (4 high school girls?) ran to the back and hid. Not to mention that you get the smallest cup of coffee (one size they have) for $6. Very unimpressed with the coffee flavor, size cup and very rude service. First and last time I’ll go there.
Sweet and cozy cafe with the best coffees and pastries. Love their Banana Nut cake and their Mochas are to die for:)
Super cute tiny cafe. Bear on the coffee was adorable; pastries looked good! Will definitely return.
This is my go-to coffee shop for latte specials and beans. My favorite latte is the Mocha-Borgia (chocolate and orange). I treat myself to this once a week or so. I also make espresso drinks at home and get my beans here. Beans are great quality and they label the bags with the roasted date, which is important for me and something most outlets don’t do. Service is always good and they have a good selection of fresh pasties. Parking is available outside and inside the building.
Barefoot was one of my first regular independent coffee shops and is still one that I visit very frequently. It is impressive how many baristas I have known from this location that are now independent baristas in other newer shops. This place has really had a huge impact on the San Jose coffee scene! They make their own orange essence which is great in their Mocha Borgia and their Latte Valencia. The peach Kuign Aman is very good and they make among the best toasts around. Highly recommended!
The coffee is really high quality and the baristas were really friendly. The pastries are very delicious!
Refused to accept a $50 bill for a two item order totalling over $10. So went to another nearby coffee shop that did, and it will likely get future repeat business.
Friendly staff good coffee
A few chairs and a bar outside and spots inside. Creative drink options and a handful of food options including avo toast and baked goods and stuff. Often a small line.
Came here on a Wednesday morning to grab coffee and pastries. I usually see a line out the door so it was nice coming on a weekday. Minimal seating outside - 1 table for 3 and another bar table that could seat 4. Cool atmosphere and good coffee.
Cappuccino tastes great! The cafe is a bit small and feels cramped for sitting. They also take latte art classes which are quite fun and baristas teach well too
They started cleaning early before closing even though there are customers placing order. It was day after new year and I wanted to tryout new coffee brand so my wife and I drove 30min down to the coffeeshop. Coffee was ok. There was no music, not a good mood and ordering coffee out of dust was not a good experience. I will try visit a bit early next time and see the differences.
Fun vibes and tasty drinks
Great coffee and will go again, but the barista need a bit more training in customer service and should be open to remaking a drink if it’s not done right
Get the toast with goat cheese and honey. Chef's kiss*
Staff is super friendly and coffee tastes great
Nice little coffee shop. They do not have white chocolate... so no black tie mocha. However, tried the Iced carmel mocha... it was very good.
