I ate all the empanadas at this gem. Literally. I bought everything they had when I left. House salad was excellent, too. Super friendly staff? Yep, five stars.
Mosswood market is more restaurant than Market. They are famous for their empanadas which are quite tasty. This is a breakfast and lunch place, no dinner served. Has an old country town feel but the food is top-notch.

Great little cafe/bakery in the center of Boonville. While driving to or from the coast and visiting wineries here in the Anderson Valley...This Cafe is an excellent stop for a bite to eat and picking up some goodies. The gals working here are also friendly and great customer service. Excellent!

I had the chorizo/potato/goat cheese empanada and my wife had the blueberry/cheese pastry. Both were delicious and together cost $7. They must use a lot of butter for the pastry to taste so good.
Great assortment of tasty breakfast munchies, coffees, etc. Our regular stop going to the coast on hwy 128.
Had a macchiato and a brownie. Had indoor and outdoor seating, with very nice views of the mountains and the main street of town. The staff was friendly and courteous. Talk to a couple people who were eating said the food was very good. Prices for reasonable.
Great food, great coffee, fast service. Goat cheese bacon pastry was awesome, lots of filling at a good price.

The very BEST in the USA! 10 Stars ⭐️!!! Bakery: every item is fresh, tasty, not salty, not overly sweet. Very healthy! Sandwiches & Coffee are delicious! Service is consistently excellent! The owner employs local young people, relatives and family members who work harmoniously to make Mosswood Market a great experience every time. Customers young and old are treated with respect and deep care, beautiful diversity, what a loving place Mosswood Market is!
The empanadas are AMAZING! Highly recommend getting one of each kind when you're there. They make a great breakfast and they are seasoned so well that you absolutely do not need salsa or any other hot sauce to eat with it. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Good service and beautiful environment
Super cozy with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, great and friendly staff and my traditional panini paired well with a blueberry cheese danish! Not to mention the incredible dressing on the salad. Will definitely be back!
Very welcoming coffe place. For me it's the best coffee you can get in Mendocino County. They are now open for lunch too. Loved their paninis, pastries and empanadas. It's a must stop when coming to Boonville.
Swung by for coffee and pastries and was not disappointed. Blackberry scone was perfect with my coffee. Husband had the goat cheese, potato, chorizo empanadas and has been waiting to come back to get more.
