The food was good and the servers were very nice
It's a small town cafe. Good food, good service, good prices. We stop here everytime we go to Arizona (about 4 times a year). We have never been disappointed in the 12 years that we have stopped.
Best french toast I've ever had
Not the best and don't show up 30 minutes before closing they will lock the doors as you walking up .
Great place to enjoy your breakfast if you're spending the night close to the river. Service is excellent. Picture was taken right outside the restaurant.
Fastest service I've EVER had. Food was great, waitstaff was great, all those Pinterest posters on the walls were great. As of May 2023 i was the only one masking 😷 (I'm immunocompromised)

I would give this place 4.5. We came in fully expecting to be able to get their pancakes. Unfortunately, they were out of pancakes, hash browns, and bacon. Not a great start. However, I still went ahead and got the Chicken Fried Steak and a side of French Toast to replace the bread. Surprisingly, this was one of my favorite French Toasts I ever had. No joke. 30 min later, they stocked back up on pancakes and hash browns…I guess we‘ll have to make another stop to try the pancakes out.
Classic, hometown diner with plenty of parking, large booth-style seating, and a friendly atmosphere. Varied menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and reasonably-priced. Enjoyed the Avo/Bacon/Cheese omellete w/homefries. Great service...quick and always with a smile. Stop in on your way to or from Laughlin or if you are passing through on the 10.
The only thing good here was the canned green beans and the baked potato. We ordered the steak sandwich and taco salad. The bread came out soggy and bloody. The steak was tough. The taco salad had an unseasoned hamburger patty chopped up. The only thing taco-y was the canned salsa.
It's about the only place to eat in bluth. It's diner style food. Food was good. People are great.
I love to eat at local diners and this one was just perfect. Waitresses with personality, cool shabby atmosphere and awesome food!
Promote local businesses. Delicious breakfast n they have BIG pancakes. We could finish all. N very fresh.
Outstanding little eatery! Very nice selection, big portions, and down-home friendly service. Food is mostly American, with a few Mexican style selections.
Country style food and down home type of atmosphere reigns supreme at Steaks n Cakes. Staff are very helpful and attentive to customer needs. I eat there every Friday morning for breakfast.

The soups were delicious and the burger 🍔 was really tasty.
Servers are great! The California omelet was fantastic! The hash browns were actually brown (cooked properly). The coffee is horrible, lol. Drink water, lol. Overall, I give 5 stars!
How can you pass a little place called Steaks and Cakes? I had the pot roast special and was not disappointed. The meat was flavorful and tender, the potatoes were lumpy and hot, just the way homemade should be, the beans were not disgusting and Texas toast was perfect. Attentive and kind staff and we have a winner for five stars. It was perfect and I'll be back.
