Favorite stop in Big Sur. The place was full but quite organized. Food and coffee just delicious. The store next by has very cool staff, handmade beauties. One of my favorites mornings along the road
One of my favorite restaurants in Big Sur. If I am in the area, I stop here every time. Dinners are wonderful and the staff is super friendly and helpful. All of the dishes are made with great care. I had the Salmon with Potato Dumplings and my wife had the Roast Chicken. Both were excellent! No one of the Big Sur "big name" restaurants, but don't miss this place! Recommend making reservations for dinner.
Great selection of pastries. We loved the maple bacon bow tie, which is a must-have. The pepperoni strudel was good too. Four stars cause the coffee was only ok and the prices are quite steep. But hey, you’re in the middle of Big Sur!
An excellent breakfast place
Gorgeous food, creative wine list, but TOO LOUD. Sound deadening hangings on ceiling would reduce the decibel level by 20-30db.
Went here for dinner with our friends. Phenomenal. All we have to say. We shared everything and tried almost everything, including dessert. Go here.
A good place to stop by for some pastry and coffee before going up to the Tesla supercharger. Price is reasonable.
Came here in a recommendation! It did not disappoint…. Had to do a sampler! Had a cinnamon roll, an almond chocolate croissant! AND some cookies…. All were fabulous
Dinner here was the highlight of our weekend in Big Sur. The food was impeccable, staff was incredibly friendly and fun, intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend the Mt. Lassen trout and dumplings.
Delicious! Definitely get a loaf of bread even though it's huge it provides days of excellent food.
Don’t be misled by the name here because the dinner menu can have a certain boutique vibe to it. It’s certainly a unique restaurant. Cabin style here. The surrounding area is epic so this restaurant definitely feeds off that. Check out the photos for more.
We had a delightful meal here with incredible service. A highlight of our trip.
We enjoyed the avocado toast with a side of what was probably three scrambled eggs. It was enough food for two people. We also ordered an omelet which wasn’t as good as the side of eggs.
Great avocado toast (thick layer of avocado, not just spread) on delicious whole wheat bread.
Almond croissant was very tasty. Quite expensive, as most places around Big Sur.
Wonderful spot. The combination of their cozy, intimate setting with top notch thoughtfully prepared plates was wonderful. I made a reservation by chance and we really needed it. Thank you!
The best pastry I've ever had in my life. I'm mildly upset I don't live near enough to indulge regularly.
Good pit stop on the PCH for snacks & coffee. There's a gas station and a demi nearby.
The chocolate and banana strudel was delicious but I found the prices for drinks and pastries to be a little pricey given their sizes. Overall a good experience and nice view of the park!
This place is like no other. I make it a point to stop here at least once every time I am in the area. The staff has always been kind and offer great suggestions if you're on the fence about what to choose. The coffee is delicious and the pastries are fresh and flavorful. Eating and drinking outside on the tables overlooking their beautiful gardens is second to none. There is also some cell service in this area which is rare in this area. Definitely stop here and spend some time!
