So glad to have this place open. My wife and I both enjoyed our food and coffee. Environment was chill, and the value for the price was good. We'll definitely add Bayside Farmstead Cafe to our regular breakfast & Lunch spots.

So excited this cafe has joined the neighborhood! Fresh, healthy, delicious food featuring one of my favorite things… outdoor seating! We got to meet proprietor who is lovely young woman. Love supporting local entrepreneurs!

I love this place! Lovely atmosphere, kind staff and absolutely amazing food! Probably the best brunch spot in Humboldt. Don't miss out on the chive pesto and the bee keeper latte.

Food is incredible, the bahn mie is one of the best things I've eaten locally in quite a while. Great staff, clean restaurant. Fantastic all around. Pay no attention to the people giving this anything less than 5 stars. By far the best local brunch/breakfast by FAR.

Food is delicious, very nice options. Would have been 5* but service was slow (40+ minutes for order to show). Also, you place an order, then set your own table, then bus your own table, get your own water and coffee, etc…then your expected to tip. They do bring you your meal, but that’s not worth 15% for service. I’d rather pay more so they can pay their people full wage if they’re only running food to your table, than charge me a variable % for me doing all my own service. Also, they do take more orders than they have tables, so expect to stand waiting for a table with your number. Question for management: why not just do full table service? This is not a fast food place.

Great breakfast/brunch! Menu is creative and delicious, the rotating specials have been phenomenal too. The cafe is cozy, and the patio is sunny. Perfect spot for getting a bite with friends or getting a little work done. Love the grab and go burritos too!

Really loving the cafe newly reopened as Bayside Farmstead! Chef is top notch and the dishes I’ve sampled so far have been impressive taste-wise. Reasonable priced for being high quality with tons of local ingredients. Can’t beat that it’s right around the corner 😄 they also have grab and go sandwiches and burritos.

This cafe is a jewel! I stopped randomly while strolling thru Bayside neighborhood. Classy and warm woodwork in every direction, beautifully tiled floor, relaxed tranquil atmosphere. Whoever the cook is has the palate of a Michelin chef. It's obvious that he or she puts dishes together with deep love of craft and tastebud. Generous classic sandwich. Focaccia was fresh, moist, and crackled gorgeously when toasted. The soup was literally one of the best I've ever tasted. Bayside is fortunate. This place could be a second home...

Cup of clam chowder and seedy focaccia bread, local brewed Kombucha 16oz. If chowder is an art, this is a Monet, a Mozart. Thick but not heavy, flavor of the sea but not overly salty. Bread is life, quality of bread is quality of life. True quality, artists in the kitchen. Make sure to stop by and enjoy this oasis.

Best kept secret in Arcata/Bayside. Traveling from SoCal, we always stop in this area. But, today there are probably 30 little restaurant/cafes closed in this once thriving college area. CAFE TRIO is clean, artistic, delicious, and lovely staff. Off the beaten path, well worth the extra couple of miles!

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, solid food and drink. What more could you ask for in a neighborhood cafe?
