Server was really good. Can improve on waiting to be seated. It look like a pretty empty restaurant and I went by myself but still waited at least 5 minutes before being seated.
I like the layout of the store and the nice vibe to it. Feels very welcoming and it is spacious. Bakeries are good. I would go more often if I lived nearby.
We are greeted warmly by the staff. The service was fast and friendly. Our breakfasts were yummy with generous portions. Jantz Cafe is our go to place for lunch and breakfast!
I love their food, it's fantastic. Very friendly staff. The Dutch honey syrup is divine. Don't pass it up, it's delicious with big big portions.
Best Chocolate Silk Pie. It was a big hit at our Staff Meeting.
Everything about Jantz Cafe was amazing. The staff were all so kind. The food came out timely and hot. The dessert options were endless!!! 🤯🤤😋 I can hardly wait to go back!!!
I love going to Janet’s Cafe & Bakery. You are always greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome greeting as soon as you walk through any door. The restaurant is very clean, homey and never loud. You are always able to hear the people in your own party and not others around you. The staff treats you like family, which makes your visit very enjoyable. The food here is very delicious. 😋

The home fries/potatoes were 💣, the waffles were fluffy, the ham was yummy. Building is nice and well kept looks brand new but if I remember right it's almost 15 years old or so. They take care of the place!
Wow, It's been a few years since we dined out. Had a great Denver Omelet today in Atwater. It was delicious! If offered I would like to see a senior sized meal. So much food I had to take some home for later!
Going to the Jantz Atwater Cafe is kind of like going to a family member or good friend for a meal. It's really nice when they know you by name, they know what you drink, they know you want extra napkins, and they always know to ask if I want dessert whether or not I do. Food was delicious. I had the clam chowder and a side salad and the butter horns. That was about 1:00 and it's now 5:00 and I am still full! They really know how to treat you, and they certainly know how to cook and bake!

Horrible customer service. Purchased $139 worth of pies and wanted to exchange one for another difference 2 dollars said I would have to forfeit it. I said just throw in a cookie. They said no. Lol. Sorry lost a loyal customer.

We drive 20 minutes to have breakfast there perhaps once a week we love the quality of the food the atmosphere is unique and is a believer I think I know why that is so. Very thankful for you guys wish you opened another Jantz in Turlock lol
