These guys are pros. The attention to quality in the food and service is amazing. The bread is far the best I've had in the area.

WOW what a find . . A little hole in the wall tucked away in the corner of a little plaza in Atascadero. They are an artisan bakery without standing Bread and pastries that are to die for. You better get their early because they sell out every day early 😆 Their San Francisco Grinder with turkey and roast beef is excellent, want to try something new try this . . what a surprise delight ! Their dressing has a very subtle hint of horse radish (not hot) just leaves you with " mmmm that's good !" 👍🙂

Hot pastrami on multigrain wheat bread. The server was 100% on the money when he suggested multigrain wheat will add flavor and bring out the best in the pastrami. Order that and tell me what not to like about it.

My boyfriend took me here because he said it was a place I just couldn’t pass up. This is the best bread and sandwich place in Atascadero, and it has been for years. Locals know this as the place to go for lunch. This local family Black-owned business has been baking and serving up the most delicious bread in North County SLO for many years, and even after the pandemic, the quality continues to impress. Come here for daily, house-made bread, baguettes to-go, the tallest, most delectable quiche, brunch on the weekends to die for. It feels like home. It’s honestly hard to describe and words how good this bread it. If you’re a bread lover you cannot miss out on this place. It’s thick and chewy and everything you want out of bread.

The French dip meat had great flavor as did the sauce and au jus..a little hard to eat on baguette due to crusty bread. Side of coleslaw was a little small. Overall combo price a little high for size.

I've been going to Hush Harbor bakery for years, I'd make it a point to stop by whenever I came to Atascadero. I've been an amateur bread baker myself for 10 years, and generally prefer my own bread to bread I get at most bakeries. Except when it comes to Hush Harbor, these guys know their stuff when it comes to baking quality breads. They specialize in crusty rustic style boules and the most amazing baguettes I've ever had. I wish I could make a rustic Italian loaf that had such a sweet a caramelized crust with a delicious and soft, airy crumb like theirs. I ran out of flour the other day just when I'd promised to bring home-baked bread to my work potluck. But, Hush Harbor saved the day with these beautiful loaves. Then there is the food. The sandwiches (all on their fresh baked breads) are to die for, and generously sized. My son and I can come in and split one easy. The atmosphere is chill, with jazz music playing and posters and records on the wall of classic jazz players and albums. Bread and jazz, two of my favorite things. Hush Harbor could practically be a second home if my finances allowed me to eat out regularly. But, it is a treat I look forward to whenever I get the chance. The folks there are always kind and down to earth and provide great service. Please check out this hidden gem when you get the chance, you won't be disappointed!

We buy loaves of the rustic Italian! They slice it and it is incredible! Be patient they are still short staffed coming out of the pandemic.. but the food is always worth the wait..

Stopped by a handful of times and wanted to leave a quick positive note. This bread is IT. Great flavor and has the winning combo of soft, near see through crumb and the right crunch on the crust. Breakfast is FILLING. Owner is very sweet and we had great service each time. Thank you!

The first artesenal bakery in Atascadero. It has always been family run. The father is on the back creating his breads and now the daughter already grown is the host after her mother. They serve lunch. Breakfast only on Saturdays. But you can get a true croissant every morning. A baguette french style and rustic grain breads...they even provide bread to high end restaurants of the County. Closes on Sundays.
