The decaf beverages are tasty, thank you! Sad lavender has been discontinued.

Great coffee and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. It's a nice place to get some work done with a coffee, and then have a beer on the patio when you're done!

Ive lived in Arcata off and on for 15 years and have seen my fair share of Coffee Shops come and go. Out of all of them I am so impressed with Northtown Coffee! They not only provide so much amazing beverage options but delicious food from Mothers Kitchen, such a unique gift to the community! You can feel the love and creativity that is skillfully cultivated in every drink they pour. I love that they use medicinal mushrooms and wonderful infused simple syrups to thier creations! The community that they help to build around them is inspiring and it is always a pleasure to sit and enjoy the awesome vibes:)

every single time i go to Northtown for coffee, i am never unsatisfied. the coffee is always delicious (AND they have coffee ice cubes! in the shape of a honeycomb! it's so cute!!!), and the atmosphere of the inside of the café is SO comfy-cosy. all of the baristas have been incredibly kind and sweet and accomodating, and it's always just such a joy to get to come here. 100% recommend!!
This place is easily my favorite coffee shop in town. The drinks are excellent, and the mimosas are incredibly generous. Seriously, they’re like 80% Champagne. Mother’s is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Arcata. Please do yourself a favor and try it!
A gathering place for community, poetry, old friends and studying. Drop on by and get Mother’s Cooking, say hi to the folks and enjoy pure magic in a cup of delicious speciality made coffee and tea . Northtown is family to me. This place is home, I walk through the door and it’s love. ~ Alice
I ordered the Honey Bee Latte & my husband opted for a regular latte.. I think this is the best coffee in Arcata! After being here for a couple of nights I wish we would’ve tried Northtown sooner. The atmosphere is open and inviting, and the staff were super friendly. If you’re looking for a coffee shop - come straight here!
This place is THE BOMB. I keep begging them to turn into a 24hr coffee shop and they keep promising me to think about it. Mothers Cooking Experience is amazing, my friends and I regularly get the "yogurt eggs" and we could die happy about it. The drinks are always top notch and cleverly devised, the baristas obviously enjoy what they do and get creative with their flavor palet in exciting ways. I also love the stain glass window in the garden door--that really makes the place for me.

Great coffee and food in a beautiful space! Went here three times for coffee and a quick bite while I was in town and Charlie was there each time making very pretty lattes. Everyone was so friendly! The pastries were to die for (must-try danishes) and their colab with Mother’s cooking made for an incredible brunch. Definitely a mainstay of gorgeous Northtown, I’ll be back!!

Such an amazing coffee shop/community space. I’ve been in this space many times for many reasons. The treats are amazing. The drinks are amazing. Mothers Cooking here is amazing. On Tuesdays, they got an open mic at 6PM that is phenomenal. Best I’ve ever been too and I’ve traveled and been to many. 5 stars isn’t enough. I love this place 💜
I love Northtown Coffee so much! The coffee is great, food is great. They support local artists and have fun events. Their crystal and sticker collection is always so fun to look at and the atmosphere is always comfortable. Would highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t!!
