Wish the halal meat wasn't cooked on the same grill as the pork. Defeats the whole purpose of selling halal meat. Otherwise I would give this place 5 stars. I hope one day the pork gets taken off the menu.
I can't pin it exactly but it's not as good as it used to be. It's ok.
Lamb Kofta skewers, Gyro Burger, Basmati Rice, ahhhhhh. This is my comfort food. Top that with Dolma and Pistacio Baklava and I'm in heaven. Lots of parking, fun staff running it.

If you love gyros, you need to come to this place! Located in Arcata, Humboldt County, CA (20 minutes north of Eureka) on the CA redwood coast. Greatest gyros on the planet. I've been coming here when traveling for work about 3 or 4 times a year for 18 years. And the staff, well, that's another issue they don't treat you like a customer they treat you like family! Absolutely love this place!!!!

Affordable excellent food.
This is my favorite place for medeterranian food and it is high quality flavor and ingredients. My only wish is that it were not so dearly expensive; I spend around fifty just on myself because I absolutely need a little bit of everything when I go--its all too tasty to choose only one thing. Because of this I only go a couple times a year, but it's very worthwhile and the people are awesome!
The chicken soup and chicken sandwiches are good. The falafel sandwich is delicious.
WOW. Just wow. This food was absolutely delicious!! I got a chicken skewer dinner plate along with an order of their Halloumi cheese with red sauce. Everything from the rice, to the seasonings on the chicken, to the red sauce was very flavorful. Everyone there has really good energy and you can taste it in the food! I love how it definitely feels like a mom and pop restaurant with authentic recipes. I can't wait to come back!
As far as I know this is the only place in Humboldt county that serves baba baba ganache -something I wouldn't care to live in this world without.

AMAIZING!!! 10 STARS! The ladies were extremely friendly and on top of their game. They took time woth each order to ensure excellent food. I had the (small) lamb gyro which was huge and full of meat and veggies. I also had the cup of Batsami rice served with light oils and seasoning. It was the best I have ever had! The space was welcoming and beautifully decorated with thoughtfully and with respect to culture. Thank you so much!
My go-to meal in Arcata. A meat (any) and a vegetable (no mushrooms) kabob over rice with red sauce. I think it is both dairy and gluten free... I haven't asked. The baklava also delicious, but I have sworn off for the month.

This place is a secret gem of Arcata. Best gyros in town, delicious burgers, mouth watering kebabs, great selection of dishesand all at reasonable prices ♥️

Excellent Gyros with Tzatziki sauce, my favorite; I usually ask for their original hot sauce, with Turkish Coffee and Halva on the side. Fries are yummy. Great customer service. Great to get there at 11:30am before the lunchroom rush. Worth visiting if you are looking for a healthy lunch full of great options. Indoor and outdoor seating, plus take out.
No brainer, consistently good food for over 20 years. Try everything, it's all good. I usually go with the Adana meal. Their kabobs, gyros, babaganoush, hummus, and tzatziki (sic, probably) is all on point!
