Employees are rude not kind and food is not very good
The staff here are wonderful. The food is very affordable, tasty and they offer good options. I appreciated the daily lunch specials which were always tasty.
Love the salad bar so fresh & clean! I can tell they grow everything at the hospital out back in the garden.in the summer they have farmers market.when I order food it's hot right off the grill.ill give five stars for hospital food.def!
I love the Garden Court Cafe in Madriver hospital.. they grow most of their vegetables, organically. Quality hospital ♡
Just had an inexpensive & delicious garden Burger with lettuce and grown right outside in their tiny garden!!! Plus free wifi and THE only and best experience I've ever had in this hospital, granted I had kidney stones when I here before!💯😮😄
Cheap, decent, slow
The quality of food you get for the price you pay, makes the Garden Court Cafe an excellent choice. When you consider what's available elsewhere in Arcata, then you know this cafe is indeed an oasis (as others have pointed out).

I was really surprised to find the quality of food they have here. I guess I usually associate hospital cafeterias with yucky hospital food. However I was wrong. Not only does this little cafe have hot, fresh organic delicious food. The prices are surprisingly low. They also use produce from their garden. I took my nephew there after a brief hospital visit, he is a picky eater and he loved the cheeseburger. They grilled it on an open flame and it was yummy. The dining area is clean and the lady at the cash register was pretty nice too.
Do you like fresh vegetable garden food it's good.

This place is an oasis feel good food and friendly staff, you wouldn't believe you were eating at a hospital, yet a Good Earth. .. And with the garden fresh veggies it will keep ya out of a hospital visit.... My flower deliveries for Arcata florist take me to some of the best places and this is one of them ❣
Free popcorn on Fridays. Nice veggie options. Patio space is charming. Anything other than daily special takes a long time to prepare.
