This is an icon of Arcata. The saunas are well cared for and maintained impeccably. However, the showers in the sauna are from on demand water heaters, so don't be thinking you are gonna get a long long hot one. It takes about 120 seconds for the hot water to make it. Cut in the cold water slowly.
This place was really nice. Very private hot tub.
My partner and I have gone to this place a few times now, it’s great! Very simple and straightforward.. the only bummer was last time we went the tub was WAYYY TOO HOT!! 🥵 we had to keep getting out and back in after awhile. We should have said something, but I felt like they wouldn’t have done anything about it anyway 🤷🏻♂️ if you’re reading this, can you make sure they’re all the same temperature? That tub was crazy hot…
We made a reservation and when we arrived they did not have it. We were trying to get through took like 30 times to get through and then they did not bother to write it down!!! Would give 0 stars if possible! We came from fortuna just for this and then we were not even able to enjoy it!
Great place to relax and enjoy some quiet serenity. Very clean and well maintained. Excellent espresso and drinks. Makes for a good anniversary or birthday gift as well.

Amazing place. Highly recommend going to the tubs.
It may be the only spot to rent a tub for a half-hour or more in the area, but even if it weren't, I would only go there. The ambiance is both endearing and relaxing, and the tubs are so very soothing.

AMAZING STAFF! AMAZING ATMOSPHERE! AMAZING ALL AROUND. Been going to the hot tubs since my kids were about 7 or 8 years old maybe younger and are now 14 and 17. Every time it's a beautiful EXPERIENCE all around. A must-do when in Humboldt County and in Arcata.
Fantastic paradise! Just got back from a 1.5 hot tub date. It was great. Awesome service, great chocolate, attention to detail, clean, overall this place is gold. Make sure you visit
For a short warm up it is Google. But no relaxing quality, you can notwendig ist outside to cool down between two Sauna visits, the garden ist nice, if you are not afraid to do it with a bath towel sourrounded from people who ate visiting the cafe.
It took me 25 years worth of time spent up here before I FINALLY went, but my goodness the wait made it all the more amazing. Killer setting, great price, and just what the Soul needs to reset.
I love this place. It's hard to get a reservation on Friday or Saturday nights. Which is fine, just got to plan ahead. The food and coffee are the best. They really contribute to the local culture.
What a spectacular place!!! I’m from out of state and really wanted to soak here, so I made reservations. Due to visiting family in the area, I was late for my appointment. The staff was amazing and allowed me to still soak due to a cancellation. The tubs are very clean and well-maintained; the jets felt heavenly. The grounds with a pond and moss-covered sauna rooms were very picturesque, and it was fabulous to have a cold, refreshing Italian soda there at the coffee shop on-site. Would highly recommend this establishment!
