Best place in Aptos by far. Have the best green goddess smoothie ever made personally by the owner Sylvia. The food is amazing. Also, you can grab vegan gluten-free dairy free treats made by OMSOUL. Come on in and enjoys the relaxing environment and the great community fives vibes. Come on by and say hi to Sylvia on Saturdays live music and call an amazing crew. Hallelujah for this California coffee sanctuary
Good food, good coffee, love the outdoor seating
Great people
Neat little coffee place. I did not care too much for my coffee flavor. But I was trying a new thing. Lots of fun decor and vibe.
I came here for the off-the-charts atmosphere and received one of the all time best cups of chai I've ever had! Plus the staff is truly lovely. No other coffee shop compares to this place.
Super charming place, great breakfast burrito, live music on the patio, what a lovely time
Very nice, relaxing place for a coffee
I found this little gem on my way to Carmel and I am SO GLAD I chose this place. I needed to take a work call in a quiet and professional setting and California Coffee came through strong. Parking was easy and felt plentiful. The staff was friendly, efficient, and attentive. I ordered the Pistache latte and it was INCREDIBLE. I asked the barista if it was sweet and she assured me it wasn’t too sweet (if I had a nickel for every time I’ve been mislead with sweetness level in my life…) She was right. It was perfect. Not too sweet, not too bland, subtly flavorful. AND they have decaf espresso beans. I will most certainly be back here. The food and pastries looked great and very fresh also. The WiFi was fast and reliable and the walk set in background was so good, my coworkers commented on how cute it was. I’ll definitely be back here!
breakfast burrito was perfect. great vibes too
I love California Coffee!!! It is the sunniest spot in Aptos it’s the most spectacular tropical garden, you feel like you are in Hawaii. I not only come for some thing warm and cozy to drink or a little something tasty to eat. I visit regularly California Coffee because of the hospitality the customer service the beautiful people and this amazing welcoming haven that Silvia Reyes has created. Let’s not forget the Weeknd music I love to dance and that’s an extra bonus for me. You may be a Starbucks fan or a Peets fan but once you come to California Coffee you’ll be Calif Coffee fan♥️ Support local , innovative Buisness women
Was looking around Aptos for some property early on a Saturday morning. Place is a little off the beat and path. Needed some coffee. Got a mocha. They do it well. Have a nice seating area. Good selection of pastries. Would go again.
I don't drive this way often but when I do, I make sure I stop by here and grab a delicious latte and burrito! Anything I have tried here on the menu is great! The live music and family feel-good vibes here really make the experience worthwhile. The owner and staff are fun social people to chat it up with and make you feel so welcome. I encourage everyone to visit this sweet gem of a spot tucked away in Aptos.
I used to come here a lot when it was a different business (almost a decade ago). Been a while, but I came in with a healthy dose of skepticism... but I am SOLD. The macha latte is divine. I recommend. The staff genuinely friendly and helpful. AND the clean bathroom is a huge comfort for the weary traveler. Come come, come ye, come all!!!
Cute place, great location. My coffee is basic. Breve latte with brown sugar which is hard to get wrong. I removed two starts because I thought it was extremely lame that she actually charged me .75 cents for a scoop of brown sugar. I am the type of person who visits a town and tries every single locally owned coffee shop. Never in the over 100 plus coffee shops that I have had the pleasure of trying all over the Western Hemisphere have I ever ever once been charged for sugar. So because i asked for “brown sugar” that was a special request syrup charge worthy of half the price of a box of brown sugar. Its not that big of a deal but worth mentioning and enough to not go back. A small latte only half full at that because it was more like a cappuccino full of foam for 6.50? Hard pass. Starbucks is next door to my bungalow and the same coffee was 5.00. I also was turned off by seeing Costco muffins at a locally owned place. I like when they bake their own or source locally from other bakers. So I removed a star for that too. Coffee flavor itself was 4stars.
Very good breakfast burrito. Thick and delicious
Friendly outgoing staff and the drinks are great
Lovely spot to enjoy a coffee or any of the other drinks & food offered. Nice indoors & lovely patio. Music on some weekends. Sylvia, the owner, is a beautiful woman who treats customers like friends & family. The coffee is good too! ☕️😊🐾
Whenever I’m in town, I come here to work and I couldn’t ask for a better work place. Spacious indoor and outdoor seating! Great service, friendly owners and staff, delicious drinks and breakfast. Haven’t been here for live music, but popping when I drove by one day.
More Expensive than my other coffee shops that I go to. Outside area Noisy, lots of traffic going by. Weak coffee. A friend of mine wanted to go there, I didn't want to tell her that I went there before and it sucked!
The owner is so kind and you can tell she loves to make her customers feel welcomed! Great study spot, plenty of outlets, BOMB bagels, and just all around awesome coffee place!
