Donuts are excellent and it's a local place.
One star for having the doughnuts my kids were asking for. Missing four additional stars for the horrible customer service and price. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. There’s a Safeway next door or drive an extra 10 minutes to a Redding doughnut shop. Maverik’s gas station close by has the best breakfast burritos in town if you’re not stuck on a doughnut specifically (which is what the parents got). Just incredibly thankful this was a one time visit and not my local doughnut shop. Edited to say there were two people other than myself there (the other two being helped together by one person) and the other was helping me. It was not busy at all the entire time I was there, and I was heading out of town for a fun trip- so I was in a great mood before heading in. I sincerely hope they were just having a really off day, but I for sure won’t be back to find out.

I love me a good donut one in a wile and small bisness like these are hard to find with the old-school taste, you know what I mean? Very clean and inviting place to go. With that being a said support your small bisnesses so one day our kids can still enjoy good donuts like these

Don't let the "run-down" appearance of the shopping center deter you from trying this fantastic local pastry treasure. Inside you will find a quaint but very clean pastry shop with a wide variety of delectable baked treats. It's best to get there in the morning, as they frequently run out of baked goods by the afternoon, due to their popularity with the locals. Excellent donuts and cinnamon rolls, with fast friendly service. Pairs extremely well with a coffee from Kaleidoscope Coffee, less than a mile away on North Street, or simply try it with one of Jack's own competitively priced coffees and espressos.

(Jack’s Donut) I’m no longer your customer. Even though after all I wanted to replace the bad donut that you sold me was not cook all the way. It look like cheese string. I understand it happens. I had never experienced in my life bad customer service, as longs this Business has been open. All I wanted her to replace my donut or just to refund my money instead she continue to roll her eyes she never apologize at me, she continue point out the no one is going come in to donut shop and teach her how to cook her donuts the right way. I can’t believe she lock me inside her donut shop and the only reason I was let out because I dial 911…
