A nice modern feeling coffee shop along Park Avenue in downtown Alameda. One of my two favorite coffee shops on Alameda - which I alternate between when I come to work on occasional Fridays here. They have some very interesting lattes coming around here, I very much enjoyed their fresh mint latte which they are not currently serving, but they alternate between fresh flavors very often so you'll usually find something you like. They have amazing gourmet pastries, with very healthy ingredients. I love their quiches, and today I enjoyed a seasonal Kuign Amman with apricot center. My only complaint is that they sell out pretty quickly in the morning, so sometimes there's very little left when I get here... 😔 They also have other offerings such as soft serve ice cream, which I have not yet tried but probably will one of these days. I suspect it is very good. The pour overs are very worthwhile as well. They have a cozy modern interior and an outdoor seating area which feels rather serene even though it's in a downtown city area. The baristas are always fantastic and friendly, and do a great job.

I just didn't prefer the coffee. They have a very limited selection of frufru drinks. My husband, however did enjoy his mocha latte with 4 shots... there is only one size...i think they are about 12oz...the almond chocolate croissant was tasty but I would have preferred it to have been warmed up (which wasn't offered... not sure if they have the means), the blueberry muffin was soft, tasty with a lot of blueberries... but again, warmed would have brought it to the next level. Staff was courteous and professional.

Excellent breve flat white. Their bean is a medium roast, and delicious! Nice outdoor seating.

Probably my favorite coffee shop in Alameda. Coffee is definitely five stars. Espresso drinks are very solid, and their drip coffee and pour overs are 🔥. They also offer great affrogatos and milk shakes. Staff and ambiance are five stars too. They have a beautiful and peaceful courtyard and plenty of space inside the coffee shop. The only thing I don’t love is the pastry selection, but there’s an excellent bakery down the block

A little hip place with limited menu but great people and the coffee is fine but served luke warm. Real bummer.

I visited this spot the past couple days while staying in the area. I really enjoyed the vibe and hospitality of Coffee Cultures. The ambiance, location, space and drinks were first class. I enjoyed my black coffee and espresso everyday while visiting. I met the owner, Jason, and he is just as passionate in coffee as anyone you can find. A great find and spot!

A hidden gem of a cafe with good coffee, tasty pastries, and attentive baristas. Vegan options are available too. The spot is a great place to grab something while your kid is attending a nearby class or to work on a laptop. Worth the stop!

suspected food poisoning from spinach mushroom quiche. both my friend & I began to feel incredibly nauseous 3 hours after consuming two different quiches; our other friend who just had a croissant was fine. first thought it was nausea from too much caffeine but then consulted someone who notified me that it was likely food poisoning, although I luckily had it mild. I was nauseous for the next 7-8 hours stuck in bed. I have a pretty strong stomach that has been through lots of stuff other than this harmless-looking quiche and have never experienced this before. $8 for some food poisoning. Beware of this place.

Great little hidden gem coffee shop. They also have soft-serve ice cream, so they do my favorite: soft serve with a shot of espresso! Indoor and outdoor seating in a protected courtyard

The drinks are fantastic, the pastries from Starter bakery are really nice, the affogato is decadent, and the baristas are very kind. Love this place, the outside patio area is a great place to relax.

Ample seating indoors and on the outside patio area they have. Latte was delicious. Staff were welcoming. And there's a bathroom if ya need one as well. Not too difficult to find street parking either

I'm up in the bay for a few days and wanted some good coffee and after searching through a few reviews, I decided to check out Coffee Cultures. Let's get into the parking, parking was very limited. I had to park in a no parking zone just for my coffee fix, I'm glad to say I was able to leave here ticket free LoL... but aside from that the shop has a cool vibe and the employees were super friendly, attentive and nice. It is a little small and can get crowded quick if you choose to sit in but again, I love the vibes. I ordered an Iced Lavender Latte with Oat Milk and it was okay. It did lack in the lavender flavor( which I was expecting more of) but it wasn't the worst I've had but it wasn't the best either. It gave me more of a vanilla latte with a faint lavender undertone. Would i come here again? Definitely! There's other things on the menu I would like to try. Customer Service is a biggie for me and they were awesome!! I felt welcomed and service was prompt. My overall experience at Coffee Culture was a great one!!

This is my favorite coffee shop on the island! The coffee is always made to perfection, it’s so smooth and tasty it’s ruined me for anywhere else. The pastries are divine. I love the way the shop is set up, it’s super cute and that you can sit in a secluded courtyard with your pup. My favorite part about Coffee Cultures is the service, the staff are kind, friendly and efficient. ❤️
