I think this place is good but they used to have a hummus plate that was great and a stout cake that was even better. And that in 2023 you should be serving authentic chai
Received not one, but two iced lattes containing spoiled milk. The first time, the staff was very apologetic and offered to remake my drink. I was frustrated, but accidents happen. The second time, I told the barista the milk was still spoiled and they argued with me, showing me the milk container and saying there's no way it could be expired. They outright refused to smell the drink they'd given me — a quick whiff would have confirmed that something wasn't right. In the end, I got a refund for the latte, but drinking spoiled milk is not a good way to start the day. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, both metaphorically and literally.
This used to be our favorite place. We came every Sunday for brunch and ordered the avocado toast, a london fog, and a mocha. Today, we got a cheddar biscuit, a vanilla latte, and a london fog. The biscuit alone was over $5 and was tiny and dry. The vanilla latte came with spoiled milk. Twice. Thankfully, the london fog was ok and they gave us a refund for the vanilla latte. I miss the old Mylo. Unfortunately, we will not be back.
Among my favorite coffee places in Little Rock. Delicious drinks and food (love the seasonal menus), great atmosphere, and friendly staff.
This is the only place I went for coffee on my Little Rock trip, the in-house syrups are amazing and the cold brew is really good.
Gone absolutely down the chute recently. Stopped in for coffee Sunday morning and our latte's tasted like water with a spritz of coffee and milk splashed in. As if La Croix made a flat water with a hint of coffee flavoring. It seems that since the recent employee walkout, they've completely dropped off. The last two times I've been in it's been a sliver of baked goods compared to what used to be a few months ago. The coffee, while brewed on a La Marzocco, truly does the legendary machine no justice as I can produce better espresso on my Breville. Saddened by the current state of this establishment, and hope they can keep employees and return to their previous standard.
Fantastic coffee, treats, and food. Amazing staff and service. Fun and welcoming atmosphere. 10/10
In the past 6 months or so I used to go to Mylo every morning. The staff was always friendly and remembered my name whenever I walked in. However, in my time there I saw the staff change out what seemed to be around 3-4 times with the exception of the two people who seem to be the bakers in the back. Each time the staff changed out I kept getting promises that things were changing but the lines never improved and they didn't seem to be able to keep their staff for a long period of time. This leads me to feel that the management/ownership is not doing what they need to, so that they can retain their staff. With each change of the staff the environment got less and less welcoming to a wide range of people.
Used to really like this place. Unfortunately something has changed in the last few months. They seem to be always understaffed, out of everything, and seem to be closed at odd hours. Frequently long lines, missing ingredients, and incorrect orders. Hope they improve back to previous standards.
I gave this coffee shop 2 stars because the girl as the front was very kind and the ambience of the shop was relaxing. I ordered a dark chocolate raspberry latte and it was the most bland coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Lowkey disrespectful to the coffee itself. My friend had also ordered a chai latte and she said hers just tasted like tea bags. No flavor. I was really excited to try this spot. The kitchen was also closed and I really wanted to try something on the menu... Hopefully my feedback can help yall make better coffee for customers in the future.
They are always are out of pastries and food by like 8:30. I don’t understand why they don’t make more if predicted demand ALWAYS outweighs capacity.
Complaints of new owners are correct. The owners of this own both mugs locations now too, and look at argenta, it's dead.
Great coffee! Great spot to chill and talk or read!
I was in Little Rock to pick up my dog from Hillcrest Animal Hospital and was there early, like 7:30. Was going to grab a bite and drink some coffee while I waited. Ordered a cup of coffee and asked what food they had. They were not serving at that time...so...coffee was fine.
Used to be my favorite but no longer serves pastries/ food (used to be some of the best in town!) and coffee is just ok. Would recommend going to Nexus instead for a more customer centric menu and atmosphere + more effort to provide a creative experience
This used to be my favorite place to come. It was owned by a couple and they had the most amazing soups, stews, pastries and placed their passion into Mylos. Over the years, I have watch ownership change and now it is the worst ever. There's no effort in being environmentally friendly anymore, aside from biodegradable straws. Togo cups are consistently used for dining in instead of glasses and mugs. The charm is gone, and many pastries that previously have been offered, are no longer. NOW, it's the worst because there's no kitchen items. I understand transition but how many times is this going to happen. The hours have been reduced. THREE times I drove across town to have breakfast and coffe at what used to be my favorite spot and all you can get are bakery items that are left (muffins, cookies, bagels). THATS IT... I used to have meetings here, not any longer. The employees are great, aside from that and the simple fact I enjoy being places I'm comfortable amd familiar, I wouldn't came at all. I'm originally from Kansas City and Mylos was the place that reminded me of home. They diversity, the inclusion, the effort to prepare amazing food locally sourced, and passion to be environmentally friendly..... All of that is gone. It's now a coffee shop, with muffins, cookies, and a couple of the old staple pastries. It's just so sad to see what was the BEST coffee shop in town, now be somewhere I have no desire to return to. Like I said, employees are great. They know me by name and remember my order... Aside from that, Mylos is no longer special like it once was.
Coffee was ok. Menu, though pretty broad on their main display, was limited when ordering. Avocado toast was super bland, and coffee was average. Also, please get rid of the hotel kiosk idea of put your own milk and sugar in. Overall, go in thinking average coffee joint and you will be good.
i’m a former employee, please do not support this place. they do not care about their staff. they cut our pay in half to $4 an hour with barely any warning, resulting in the whole staff quitting. they knew we were unhappy about this and basically ignored all of our concerns. this was my favorite job, but the new ownership absolutely ruined everyone’s love for this coffee shop. please do not support this place.
as a former employee i wish i could give this place 0 stars. once the new owners started taking over, they cut our pay in half, but expected us to do the exact same work. my whole entire team quit within a week of hearing the news THAT THEY WERENT GOING TO TELL US until it was implemented. please do not support mylo coffee co. they are money hungry and ungrateful for their employees.
Purchased 2 mochi donuts for my wife who follows a gluten-free diet. It would be nice to have a gluten-free muffin or other pastry as well.
