Food and service were great! We ate their breakfast and fried pies. The door between the restaurant and the bait shop was open and the smell coming from the bait shop was really bad. I don’t recommend sitting near it.

Didn't know this place was even there. Wonderful service, and very good food. Got our fishing supplies. I'll go back.

Fantastic food, coffee and service. Best place to go that is off the beaten path right next to the water. There are places to sit across the street. I will definitely come back again and again. LJ's deserves a ten stars in my book.

Awesome food! Cheap prices! We're gonna start going more as a family tradition. I like the biscuits and gravy, and their breakfast sandwiches. Their burgers are huge, and really great!

Rustic atmosphere. The food is always exceptional. Chicken fried steak is small, but filling. The menu shows prices that probably date from the 1970s, but then there is a disclaimer that states the prices have increased. What we ordered ended up costing triple what we expected to pay. The bait shop is at another part of the building and it seems to be pretty well equipped. A great place for a quick bite.

When we have company coming they are our go to place to take them. No second guessing if the food is going to be good that day. And we are lucky to have the only bait shop in town.

Food was excellent, service was great. Went in with a really bad headache, and my waitress (Ivory) was kind enough to get me some aspirin while waiting for my food to be served. Will definitely go back and dine the next time I'm at Lake Chicot.
