Like eating at Grandmas house! Homey place with excellent Homestyle breakfast. The first time we visited Hot Springs, no one here greeted us or told us that it was a “seat yourself” situation. We stood at the entrance for a ridiculous amount of time without even a hello. They were busier & dealing with a particularly difficult/hateful customer at the time though. The food was so good that I had to return, despite the iffy service. This time, we received excellent service AND a delimptious breakfast! Thank you, Sydney! :) Not expensive & good portions, too! 🍳🍳🍳

Less food servings for the price. Very slow waiting on the food, but the waitress was on top of making sure we had full drinks.

Breakfast was good. I was able to wheel right through the front door into a table spot. You can't get more wheelchair accessible than that. The pancakes were good but the bacon was next level!!

Met up with a customer for breakfast here and this was my first time to eat here. Service from the time i walked in was welcoming and top notch. I ordered the 2 biscuits &pepper gravy. The gravy was perfect, consistency, flavor, serving size, all of it was perfect. Coffee was memorable too and the waitress kept it full my whole visit there which was appreciated. It was a very satisfactory first visit& I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely some of the best good I've had in a long time. The table had Catfish and shrimp combo, chicken fried steak and catfish po boy and gumbo combo. Everyone was extremely happy. Cornbread was amazing. Julie was our waitress and was great. Can't wait to try breakfast on my next trip to Oaklawn.

We had lunch at this cozy cafe today. They had a great simple menu including breakfast served throughout the day. Amazing pancakes, super delicious bacon and crispy hash browns! The fried shrimp was excellent…the best we’ve had in a long time! Definitely an awesome experience!

Seat yourself breakfast. We found a table in the sunny corner in front by the windows since it was cold outside. One very overworked cordial waitress on duty who was doing a good job of keeping up! We eventually ordered our regular eggs, bacon, hash browns and (no english muffins available) so we went with the biscuit—so glad we did! The eggs were cooked well, the hash browns were among the best we’ve had, nicely crisped, well separated, not gummed up and squished together. The bacon was good and the biscuit was really nice, flaky and delicious! We both opted for orange juice this morning which was a departure from our regular coffee order. The juice not fresh squeezed, but good!

It doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is good on the inside. We had fish and it was great.

Food was mediocre. The service was terrible. People who were sat way after our order was taken had there Food before we did. It took a long time. We got ZERO refills. Waitress didn't check on us at all. Not a friendly place at all.

Hubby and I had very enjoyable breakfast today. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, french toast, coffee. All very good, cute little restaurant. Learned today that it's the same menu/owner as Granny's downtown, which we've eaten at before for lunch!

The ssusage gravy was cold, and unseasoned. Toast was over done. Uncovered food in the kitchen listed on their lunch special.

A step back to the good old days with this cozy little diner. Food was very tasty with generous portions that didn't hurt your wallet. Conveniently located 1 block from Oaklawn track and casino.

I was an employee of this establishment for not very long, during which employed I acquired a COVID like sickness, to which I noticed Sherri the owner of, she then made me work that day handling all of the customers food and drinks, and then fired me the next day for being sick. I am leaving this review to warn those patrons that i there on 09/03/2022 that you have been exposed to sickness by the owners own words. The cooks will WASH the food off in the sink and the replate it after making mistakes, they keep all the used napkins off the tables and reuse them. This goes for Granny’s Kitchen in downtown as well. She doesn’t pay her employees through the state and only gives us cash paychecks. This company is beyond backwards and I will be turning them in the BBB.
