I'm only in the NW Ark area a few times a year and I typically have a hard time finding a place to work other than my hotel room. Tall Grass B&G is my new spot. TGB&G is friendly and quiet, and the food and coffee are great. Considering they let me camp out and work all day long, I appreciate the affordability also. I'll be back on my next trip to the area. Edit: My visit was on a Tuesday which is probably why it was easier to get some work done. Also, it looks like they might be expanding. I would love to come back on the weekend or in the evening for a beer.
Top Knotch service. Yummy
We enjoyed it very much! Although we didnt have a reservation they were able to sit us very quickly for a Friday evening. We had Burgers, Pasta and an great Smores Cheesecake which everyone loved.
We were looking for a place to eat going from one place to another and a lot of restaurants were either closed because it was the wrong day of the week to eat - or they were closed permanently. I’ve never been so glad that we found TallGrass. The food was outstanding, the drinks were good and there was some surprisingly good live music, too. I don’t think you can go wrong choosing to stop here!!
It is a great place to grab food and listen to live music! It's a good idea to make reservations. The menu is extensive; no doubt about finding something that speaks to you.
Really good salad, and the classic burger is delicious. Fries are a bit too seasoned for me, but still pretty good. Burger comes with a great salad and fries. Love the small shows the musicians put on. Good place to chill.
Waitress didn't do well with refills after passing our table numerous times. We were not asked if we'd like dessert like the tables around us. The homemade pita chips were good, but extremely seasoned. The spinach artichoke dip was excellent.
Greatly surprised by the quick attention from the server. Food came in a timely manner, and it was good. We had the brisket tacos and salad, and to top things off, there was live music to entertain, playing at the right volume. Most definitely recommend !!!
Service wasn't to bad but the food was bland and pricey the fries were way to greasy the achcolic drinks were way strong was very disappointed for $67.00 for us to eat 😕 won't be back ...
Food was outstanding! Will be back soon. Very nice atmosphere as well, laid-back.
We drove through Harrison after hiking. I had a vegetarian gyro with fries. Then I had a mean green smoothie. They were all sooo good! The restaurant was short staffed, but the service was still great.
Excellent all across the board.. Great food and drink selections. And the coffee selections are awesome..
Yup found my new favorite date night. Atmosphere is great service and food... Perfect!
Truly the BEST place to eat in Harrison. They have amazing drinks, incredible food, and a vibe that is unmatched in Harrison, AR! Go sip on the orange fennel martini while watching local music. You won't regret it!
Lauryn is a terrific server- very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to her table and even gave us advice when I asked for recommendations off the menu. The Restaurant- I've always loved the layout and design here, the chalk board art pieces and how the rooms are beautifully decorated with plants, retro-like furniture and unique lighting. The Food- My favorite order is the Popular Pita and the Side Salad with Green Goddess salad dressing (the best dressing I've ever had in my life) and they nail it EVERY time. If you ever see their Cream Cheese Danishes you better hop on those and order bc they're the best cream cheese anything I've ever had and every time I see they've got them I buy them up so look out haha! Tall Grass and Neighbor's Mill are my top 2 favorite restaurants in Harrison by far.
the worst restaurant we have ever tried in harrison. the food was okay, we only got the turkey club and fries with a few drinks. the fries were soggy, we took them home to re cook because they have potential but it just wasn’t there. our server didn’t listen what-so-ever. she had to come back to ask what drink we wanted when I told her the exact drink on the rocks. Then the turkey club I subbed the chips with fries, she didn’t tell us it was an up charge, even if the menu says so she needs to repeat it to the customer. So we got charged the $4 for added on fries then didn’t get a side salad or chips, so it’s just frustrating that she doesn’t know how to take orders or talk to customers. Then she brings us the check and asks if she could take the card or if we would pay at the register, we say we will pay at the register, as we are standing at the register the 2 workers say “have a great day” I then say “We haven’t paid yet” and the one just stares at us.. so yes we just left because they don’t even care to acknowledge us at the register.. it was just a bad experience all together, will never recommend to anyone. and i know I will probably get an automated response saying “oh sorry we just re-opened the inside” well maybe close it back down and just do delivery or drive thru because the workers are not cut out for serving.
This is the worst service I have ever encountered. If you're going to up charge to switch side you should also have your servers mention that while ordering even if it's started in the menu. As the customer it's not my job the memorize the menu. Same goes for extra sauce. It's just out of respect for the person ordering and knowing what they are spending their money on. And if you're going to ask if I'm paying at the register and I respond with yes then meet me at the register don't just tell me to have a good day and then leave me standing there. So yep I was going to walk out maybe it will help you pay better attention to the next customer. I learned my lesson of not reading reviews before going someone. I can see in them that service is a problem but the person answering would rather give excuses instead of fixing the problems.
The food is good, particularly the quiche and the baked goods. I don't care much for the soups, but not everyone agrees with me on that one. The fruit shakes are grand. I enjoy the music and the trivia nights. But. . .some of the wait staff act like they are out out by the presence of customers. Not exactly rude, but not exactly welcoming either. (It's not a matter of tipping, because 20% is my standard. )
Worse meal and service we have ever had. Took forever to get our meal. Mashed potatoes were cold. The pasta had more pasta than sauce and was dry. Last night was our first time trying tallgrass. We won’t be back and we will let our friends and family know
Wowee Wow! A very real diamond in the rough! Atmosphere was great, service was fantastic and the food was even better. And did I mention the bar and craft beer selection? 🙃 🍺 HIGHLY recommend!!!
